Grabbed this recipe when friends from out of town "popped in" overnight and I had nothing in the fridge for breakfast. I knew I wouldn't have time to slice & dice in the morning, so dashed to store, got the cheese (a mozarella/cheddar mix), a few red peppers strips for color, broccoli florets, some scallions & mushrooms from the frest salad bar section. Just eyeballed the quantities. Had the deli slice a nice wide piece of black forest ham, and they even cut off the dark skin and cubed it to see if the portion was right. Used prepared pie shells. FYI: this was my first ever quiche. FYI: unbelievably easy. FYI: EVERYone loved it, even quiche-hating husband. I think the bisquik makes this one really special. I'll do this again and again, varying the ingredients. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS ONE. Thanks for another Keeper.

This recipe was great! I used fresh broccoli and steamed it for a few minutes, but other than that I followed the directions exactly and it came out perfectly. Thanks, Tim

Excellent! Super easy to put together and versatile! We will definitely be making this one again! I poured the mixture into premade pie shells so if you plan to use a real crust- make sure you buy two.

Very tasty! I didn't have any ham and I halved the amount of cheeses to reduce fat and cost. Added diced red bell pepper, black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Came out great and made a quick dinner for us. Good basic recipe that can be played around with. Thanks for sharing!

This is great. Both my kids (2 & 4) and the neighbor girl had large helpings. I found it to be a nice, warm, easy-to-prepare comfort food. I added pepper and used mozzarella cheese instead of parmesan. Mmmmmmm.

This quiche is quick and easy, especially if you don't have a pie crust on hand and don't feel like making your own. It really needs to be refridgerated overnight before serving though and requires a few added spices or it tastes rather bland. There are better recipes out there.

Very Yummy. Very Easy! I brought this to 2 brunches and received rave reviews both times. I used sausage/spinich and crab/mushrooms instead of ham/broccoli, and they turned out excellent.

I just finished cooking this recipe for the second time and IT IS FABULOUS (My boyfriend went back for 3rds!!!). The first time I tried this I didn't have ham so I used spicy sausage and it was just as good! The only problem I had was that I don't have a food scale and I had a hard time measuring the cheese once I scaled it down to fit our family (2 adults and a 2 yr. old). Thanks for the great recipe!!

This is one of my favorite recipes on this site. I stretch the recipe and bake it in two 8 in pie pans instead of one 10 inch. Also, you cannot go wrong with variations of the recipe. Spinach and bacon, onion and mushroom, broccoli, asparagus...you name it and that's not even the best part of this recipe. The best is how easy it is to make. Forget about making a crust! Thanks for a great recipe!

This was unbelievably great! All 3 of my sons, 10, 5 & 4 had second helpings. And the 5 year old hates veggies! I used 10oz spinach and bacon in place of ham/broccoli. I also added some onion powder, dry mustard and pepper. We will be eating this often. Soooo easy and so delicious!

This was great! Made exactly as recipe stated but added a little onion, garlic powder, and some dry mustard. I used my 10" quiche pan that i never use. It came out perfect. Also I cooked it 5 min less, so keep an eye on it. Thanks Michele!

Made this for a potluck the other night. I used a 9" pie pan, and cooked for about 40 minutes. It turned out okay, but I'd recommend using a deeper dish if you have it. However, I had a lot of batter left, so I put it some ramekins. Voila, mini-quiches! I cooked them for 35 minutes and turned out perfect, moist, & fluffy (a million times better than the pie pan version). Great recipe, so quick and easy, I'll be making this again.
