This was great sauce! I used it with Jay's Signature Pizza Crust, added fresh tomatoes from the garden and cheddar cheese for topping (that's all I had) and it still turned out great! dh said he was surprised at how good it was! Thanks!

This gets 5 stars for easiness but 3 for flavor....it's bland/taste too much like tomato sauce. I added a bunch of garlic and some italian Seasoning. Not sure I'll make this again.

This is a keeper! I followed DEED330's suggestions, but I forgot to add the sugar. I think I'll always leave it out since we liked it!

I added powdered onion and powdered garlic to this recipe. I also substituted Italian Seasoning for the Oregano. It's the best sauce I have found yet.

Wonderful sauce, tweak it all you want, but DO NOT add the baking soda as suggested by a review......I did that, and it was HORRID. Someone told me this years ago for chili also, same result, AWFUL.

The best thing about this sauce is that it is so easy to make! Had to add salt and pepper though. Next time I will add some basil too.

Sauce was good, definately needed to add 1/2 tsp sugar, and was better after I let it set awhile. Cut back on the spices and added a bit of garlic powder. Made enough for two homemade pizza crusts.

Very quick and tasty! I only had a partial can of tomato paste (left over from another recipe) but it still turned out fine. Added a bit of minced garlic as well as sugar and spices per other reviews. Nice to know I don't have to buy jarred sauce anymore!

I needed pizza sauce to serve with calzone/stromboli and this recipe was a SNAP to make!!! I put it together in minutes and it tasted better than the jarred sauce with sugar added. I will definitely use this recipe again and again!

This is the best sauce I've made. I also considered the review by DEED330 and added my one ingredient 1/2 tsp -Chipotle Chili Pepper. Also using diced tomatoes instead of tomato sauce lowers the sodium content. The family said it was the best they've had.

I needed to feed 3 hungry teenage boys who wanted to make pizza and I was out of prepared pizza sauce. I only had 2 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce and 1 6 oz. can of tomato paste. I didn't have oregano either. So, I mixed 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning with the tomato sauce/paste mixture. They all ate it and loved it! Thanks for the easy recipe.

Super easy and very good. I did use fresh garlic and added some onion powder, and a little water to make it a bit thinner, but loved how easy and quick it was to make, and I have lots of leftovers!

Okay this is going to sound confusing but I'm going to try and explain anyways. I only had two cans of tomato paste (6 oz) each and 1 can of tomato sauce (8 oz) so to get the sauce mixture where it needed to be I dumped in the one can of tomato sauce, plus one of the cans of paste. Then I used the empty paste can, filled it with water, and mixed it into the sauce/paste I already had in the bowl. I hoped this would create more tomato SAUCE. It did, so I added my second can of paste as the one can called for in the recipe. Whew! I hope that made sense and can possibly help someone short on igredients. So because of all that it had a very tomato-y taste so I had to add extra seasonings, which are listed below. Instead of just oregano and paprika I also added two heaping tablespoons of Italian seasoning, a tablespoon of sugar, onion powder, two heaping tablespoons of dried minced garlic, red pepper flakes, just a sprinkle of sea salt, and some olive oil (to make it more spread friendly).I was worried that the olive oil and water I used with the paste to make sauce would seperate but it never did, even after I let the stuff sit in the fridge all day! Man was that was some good sauce!
