I have been looking for a good pizza sauce that says Italian and this is it, I did add a few things like basil, a touch of sugar, frest garlic and onion powder. I loved it. Thanks

I think I would like this better if it called for half the tomato sauce, I like a thicker, richer sauce. This was not a stand-out sauce, but a good place to start adjusting to our taste.

This sauce is an excellent base. I added some basil as others had recommended. I also added crushed red pepper flakes to give it some more flavor and also added just a bit of sugar. It balanced out very nicely and wasn't sweet at all. My boyfriend doesn't like sweet sauce and he loved this sauce.

This sauce is great! It reminded me of a pizzeria for sure. Will definitely be replacing our normal sauce with this recipe.

I was out of tomato sauce and paste so I substituted a quart of my home canned plum tomatoes-drained the off all juice and mixed in the oregano, basil, garlic and paprika in the blender. It was great!

Oh my so good!!! I did add a pinch of sugar as some others did. My picky daughter wanted to lick the mixing bowl clean! The greatest sauce ever. Generously sauced one large pizza (Jay's signature crust) with a couple cups left over to freeze.

This recipe is better than store bought sauce!! I went to make and realized I did not have the Tomato sauce or paste, All I had was diced tomatos. I threw the diced tomatos and seasoning in the blender plus 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp onion powder and 1/2 tsp basil as others had suggested. This sauce turned out awesome!!!

Made this sauce last night to put on my first ever home made pizza dough. I used fresh garlic, a bit of onion powder, and a dash of Italian seasoning. Because of the fresh garlic I let the sauce simmer while I was waiting for my company to arrive. They thought I'd been at the stove all afternoon cooking! Recipe is a real keeper.
