Great recipe to use in a pinch. 1 1/2 cups of water is way to much. I used 1 cup and was afraid it would be too runny but it came out fine. I would make this recipe again but maybe with a tad more garlic.

This recipe was a big help when I forgot to purchase pizza sauce in a can for another recipe. It was so easy and tasty that I probably will never buy pizza sauce in a can again. Try it with the Bread Machine Calzone. We used it in that recipe and the leftover sauce we used for for dipping the calzone.

Wonderful sauce! Very flavorful and easy to make. I mostly use the canned tomato sauce instead of the paste/oil route (due to it being a bit faster) but it's still wonderful! Thanks!

This was such an easy recipe, I was dissapointed when it wasn't a hit. Nice texture, but it came out rather bland - even though we let it rest in the fridge overnite. I think I'll try it again with more garlic and seasonings, it would sure be a convenient recipe to have!

Overall not bad. It was very easy to make. I added a little sugar to mine, heated it in the microwave, and served on top of vegetarian calzones. My boyfriend liked it a lot.

This is a very tasty pizza sauce, I no longer buy commercial brand pizza sauce. Much cheaper too.

I used an 8 ounce can of tomato sauce and just a little water - along with the tomato paste. I also added about 1/2 tsp sugar and a tiny bit of lemon juice. It worked well (it was the first pizza I've made since college)and tasted fine - maybe just a little bland. One great thing about a simple sauce like this - it's perfect for experimenting!

This IS a really good sauce! The first time I made it I followed the ingredients, but the next time I did use a little less water. I also was low on one or two of the spices so I used a tablespoon of pre-mixed Italian seasoning. It turned out just as good!

Great pizza sauce!I was hesitant to use the entire sauce recipe on one pizza so I used less and found out it wasn't enough. Next time I will try using the whole batch of sauce.

Super easy with ingredients most people have on hand. No need to buy sauce already made. Tasted great. I heated mine to enhance flavors.

This sauce is great! I made it without the rosemary (didn't have any), added an 8 0z. can of tomato sauce, and used only 1 cup of water. My family said it was better than restaurant pizza.

The sauce was very good. I used less water and I added some parmeson cheese to give it alittle more tang. I'll use this one again.

DELICIOUS! After learning how to make authentic crust, this sauce makes for a wonderful combination! I set it in the refrigerator over night so the flavors could blend. I had to use 14 oz. of tomatoe sauce instead of the paste and water and it turned out to be the perfect consistency! No more store-bought sauce here!

Great pizza flavor... but watery. Add water slowly until you get a good consistency, less than a cup was good for me.
