I've always made pie crust the hard way, but this method knocked my socks off! I did heed the suggestion to cut the salt and increase sugar (1/2 tsp and 3 Tbs) and it was fantastic for the Frozen Pineapple Pie also on this site. Very quick and easy--tastes great! This recipe is a keeper.

Eh, it was okay. It did it's job, but I'll stick to my main crust recipe.

Easiest crust ever, and absolutely delicious for chicken pot pie. I followed one reviewer's advice and covered the bottom of the pan with saran wrap so I could easily flip it over to make the top crust, and let it bake with the filling inside. (Still pre-cooked the bottom crust.)

Perfect for a quiche! This is the first and only pie crust I've made. It was quick and easy for a novice such as myself. I agree it it is better for savory dishes versus sweet desserts, but I'm sure it would be easy to adjust. The first time I made it with whole wheat flour and it wasn't my favorite. We are trying to eat healthier but this really is better with regular white flour.

I was looking for a quick crust to put a frozen batch of homemade chicken pot pie filling in to feed surprise company and it ruined my pot pie. Neither myself, nor my husband (he will eat anything) could choke down more than a couple of bites. I should have known better than to make a pie crust with oil. Also who uses that much salt in anything? Next time I will wait and make chicken pot pie for guests when I have enough time to prepare a real crust!

There's something unpleasant about the way it crumbles in your mouth, kinda like crumbs. Plus after many bites the taste becomes not that good, perhaps it's a little too savoury.
