I used two teaspoons of baking powder instead of two tablespoons, but other than that, I followed the recipe exactly, and it was great. I like that I always have those ingredients on hand, so it is a quick easy meal.

This is a really good pancake recipe, and it is simple. I used 2tsp of baking powder, and I cut the milk to 3/4cup since we like thicker and fluffier pancakes. I will definately be using this one again!

I give it 5 stars for ease of making and taste. For how easy they are to make they taste great. I also added about 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. they werent very thick when I made them but the turned out well.

We didn't care for these at all. I did cut back on the baking powder as others reccommended but we didn't like the sweetness of them. My Hubby wouldn't even eat them. My kids did at least eat theirs.

These pancakes are awesome!! the only thing is, they aren't very filling. My brother and I ate the whole amount by ourselves!

I make these as listed, except the 2 tablespoons of baking powder is clearly a typo/error. It's 2 TEAspoons of baking powder. I have made the batter using both vegetable oil and melted butter, and I think the oil works better and makes a lighter, fluffier pancake. While buttermilk pancakes are nice, we don't always have buttermilk on hand; this recipe is a nice standby, since almost everyone has all the ingredients on hand at any given time. It's quick and easy and pretty good!

Pretty tasty and easy. I had no baking powder, so I used 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar for the substitution. Added 1 tsp. vanilla extract. They were thinner than I liked so next time I will reduce the milk to 3/4 a cup.

Like everyone else, I realized as soon as I read it that the Baking soda OBVIOUSLY a typo. I used 1 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp salt. Used about 1/2 the vegetable oil called for. THESE WERE THE BEST PANCAKES I EVER MADE! SUPER EASY TOO!

Just remember to change the measurement of baking powder, it's definitely teaspoon, instead of table spoon. And it's a bit salty, but I like it.

This recipe is even better when you use half the required oil and substitute butter for the other half. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla and grated fresh nutmeg into the mix. Delicious!

Thank you for posting this recipe. These are the best pancakes I have ever made. They are moist and fluffy in the centre allowing the maple syrup to be soaked up. Plus this is the easiest recipe to follow.

My new favorite pancake recipe. 5 for the flavor, 4 because they aren't fluffy which keeps them from perfection. But I used 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 Tablespoons of butter instead of vegetable oil. I LOVE these.

I was not particularly impressed with this recipe. I reduced the baking powder to 2 tsp, reduced the salt and added vanilla extract, like some other users had done and followed the rest of the recipe to a tee. I didn't even change the proportions. I still I felt like these were missing something. The pancakes were just sort of bland and the batter was very thin and runny. So the search for the perfect pancake continues...

I was looking for an easy, basic pancake recipe and this is it! I adjusted the baking powder and salt as suggested by other reviewers and it worked perfectly. The only other change I made was to substitute vanilla sugar in the same amount. This recipe made 8 - 4in. cakes and I'll definitely use again. Thanks!
