I tried this recipe altered as others mentioned (less paking powder) and the original way. With less baking powder the pancakes are thin but with the original amount of 2 tbsp the pancakes come out nice and fluffy. I guess it depends if you like flat pancakes or fluffy pancakes. But the recipe is still pretty tasty whichever way you choose. I couldn't cook them fast enough for my daughter to eat... =)

These pancakes turned out even better than when I use the premade mix from the store. I followed the other reviews and used only 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and I also added a dash of vanilla. They were light and fluffy, and turned out perfectly. I will make pancakes this way from now on!

This recipe was horrible! I made the mistake of not reading the reviews because i wanted to get breakfast on the table quickly. If I didn't have a garbage disposal for a bf, I would have tossed the whole batch. Definitely needs less baking powder and less salt.

This recipe was very watery so it took a very long time for the pancakes to cook. I added additional flour twice and still very thin batter. I would recommend a buttermilk recipe because it makes more fluffy and thicker pancakes.

Obviously, use 2 TEASPOONS baking powder, not tablespoons. The pancakes are not super fluffy, but they aren't flat either. This is a great recipe to keep on hand because most everbody has everything on hand. And it's super fast to make. Also, this is a great base recipe for adding things like blueberries, strawberries, etc.

Very good. Only used egg whites and it turned out well. 3 teaspoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of baking powder and 1 teaspoon of salt was a good change. Vanilla was a good addition.

I made these for dinner tonight. i followed recipe except reduced baking powder like suggested. i also added choc. chips to half the batch. i really did not think they were all that great. they were very thin, not really light and fluffy like i like. i dont think i will make this recipe again.

Not the best pancakes I've ever had. They seemed a little salty, and the texture was off for a pancake. Try the ricotta pancakes, Norwegian pancakes, or fluffy Canadian pancakes- they were all better than this one.

Good pancakes! I doubled the recipe and I had to use about 3 cups of milk because the batter was way too thick. I also added vanilla. This is a good recipe for kids because it's easy. I would make them again.

These were awesome! The only thing I changed was I beat the egg whites separtely then added them after the dry and wet ingrdients were mixed. I also used 1/2 tsp of salt instead of 1 tsp. These were tasty and not too thick and gummy, which sometimes happens with pancakes. I may add vanilla extract next time.

We thought the pancakes tasted good. I did add 1 TSP of vanilla. I only got 6 pancakes from this recipe using a 1/4C. scoop. It will need to be doubled if you need more, as I will do the next time. THX.
