wonderfully delicious!!! And true to it's name, it was very easy to make these balls of goodness. My family loved them yesterday...so much that there wasn't room left for cake, pie, cookies, etc! I used the tip about keeping our hands clean and wet, worked great, along with the slotted spoon method. I can't wait to make these again...you can do so much with them and really express yourself! I had quite a few people (including kids!) ask me for the recipe. Big hit. :)

These were really easy and they tasted good. They would have been better with a really good chocolate but the Bakers chocolate worked.

I made this on 3 consecutive nights. The first night I crushed the oreos and mixed it all together and put it in the fridge. The next night I made them into balls using a cookie scoop and put them in the freezer. The following night I dipped them in the chocolate and drizzled with cream cheese icing. They were perfect and it was nice to do it a little at a time.

Thought these were delicious. I used mint oreos and reduced fat cream cheese and feel that it left the inside a bit "doughy", so next year I may use the regular cream cheese. I reserved 9 cookies for toppings as the recipe stated, however, I feel that 3 maybe 4 would have been plenty and used the remaining in the mix. I dipped mine in Baker's white chocolate mixed with some crisco to give it a nice shine and much easier to dip. I sprinkled with cookies crumbs and also colored sugar---so pretty and very tasty.

The taste is so awesome! Tastes just like what the pros make. Some hints: 1. Use a food processor. It's SO much easier and the idea of rolling over OREOs in a plastic bag doesn't work. (I tried it, and it was a mess.) 2. Make sure to refrigerate or freeze the dough before and after making balls to keep the balls firm. 3. I rolled the balls in melted chocolate with a spoon and I scooped chcocolate onto the balls with a spoon as well. The fork/toothpick way is just too awkward. 4. You better refrigerate these if you want them to stay good. The cream cheese inside will go bad when exposed to warm temperatures for too long. Overall, I love it!

These were extremely easy to make. Rolling them in little balls was very easy and then placing them in the refrigerator made them easy to dip them in chocolate. Be sure to spoon them out the chocolate and not fork them out.

Chocolate filled chocolate, how can you go wrong! These are by far my most favorite thing to make in my tiny overworked kitchen. The most important thing to remember though, is that while this will always taste exquisite, the presentation matters most in truffles. Drizzle some contrasting colors over the top, white on dark... I like to mix it up, with a sweet chocolate coating and drizzled in white and dark chocolate. A few other changes that i HIGHLY recommend are to use half Oreo's and half Girl-scout thin mints. you get an amazing mint flavor that will make your mouth water. I also like to add the Oreo dusting to the drizzle, not the main coating. For anyone wondering. A great trick to melting chocolate without a double boiler, is the microwave! chop your chocolate up to pea sized and microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power. do this a couple of times while stiring to melt perfectly. when the chocolate is almost melted, just stir it and let the chocolate melt itself. I prefer a ceramic bowl for this cause it dissipates the heat well. french onion soup bowls work great as well.

These to me were just OK.. not bad but not spectacular either. More trouble than they were worth really. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of rolling the balls in the extra crumbs, didn't do that. Also used a handful of holiday peppermint oreos along with the regular ones. All they really tasted like was mushed oreos, maybe I did something wrong? Also, I made half last night and half this morning. The half of the mixture that I put in the fridge overnight kinda fell apart and was hard to roll into balls this morning. Probably won't make again.

I love these choclate balls. Cant get enough of them. When my husband dipped his balls in the chocolate I knew they were going to be heaven when I got them in my mouth. Be carefull about the size because sometimes its hard to get huge chocolate balls in your mouth.

These are so incredibly decadent, people never believe how easy they are to make. I have made them with both white and milk chocolate and both are equally delicious. I love how fancy they look- they are perfect for gift-giving in a pretty holiday plate wrapped with cellophane. I find that the best way to mix the cookie crumbs and cream cheese is to dig right in with my hands. Then I pop it in the freezer for about 15 minutes, which makes rolling them into balls a cinch! I'm sure I will make these many times!

Absolutely DECADENT!!! I made the mixture, rolled them into balls and placed them in the freezer for about an hour. When I dipped them in the chocolate they held together beautifully. Didn't get any oreo residue in the chocolate. Wonderful recipe!
