I refrigerated the oreo mixture before rolling for 10 minutes, and then put the rolled balls in the freezer for 15 minutes before dipping into white chocolate. Tasted like cookies and cream. Very good.

I like to mix in a little vanilla extract (or another flavor if you like) to the oreo/cream cheese mixture. I also refrigerate the oreo mixture prior to rolling in the melted chocolate.

REALLY GOOD. I followed the directions exactly and refrigerated them overnight before dipping them in chocolate. I found that resting them on the edge of a fork and spooning the chocolate over the truffle worked best. I brought them to a bridal shower and they were gone in 5 minutes.

We love these so much. They are very easy to make, and even better to eat. I have made them 4 times already and I am making them today to take to the nursing home for the residents there.Great at Christmas time.

i enjoyed making these-it was a challenge & I did not make them for anything special-just sounded yummy & I had the stuff in hand. the dipping part was not so hard & I did not cool balls first-which i would recommend it would probably be a lot easier-though it was not too difficult uncooled. i used a slotted spoon dropped a ball on it & dripped chocolate from another spoon, and used the spoon to dress the chocolate on-worked fine-beautiful..next time i will take the time to dress them up a little more-they were very yummy..thanks!

These are really easy, fun to make and absolutely delicious. We didn't make them for any occasion, just messing around on a Sat. I don't have a food processor but I do have a 13yr old son who was more than happy to crush the cookies in a ziploc bag & that method worked really well. I also used the Baker's baking chocolate squares for dipping b/c thats what I had on hand. I melted a box w/a little shorting and it worked just fine. I used a melon baller for the scooping and shaping which was really easy. Some people mentioned that they fell apart easy but, I never had that problem. I also didn't refrigerate before I dipped, the chocolate didn't harden until I sat them in the freezer when I was all finished. It only took about 15 min. until they were ready. I can't wait to make these for a special occasion and decorate them really pretty. I took a pic of them but didn't dress them up which they looked fine but there is a lot of potential there. Thanks for this great recipe!

You also put the insides of the cookie (the cream) into the food processor. The recipe wasn't clear on that and I had to think about it long and hard. I was worried the cream would get stuck in the processor blades but in the end, it was finely grounded into the cookie crumbs. I wouldn't sprinkle it with the crumbs at the end. It's more attractive if you leave the chocolate shiny.

I've been making these for a few years and I always get rave reviews. I always use the white chocolate to dip them in and it tastes so good! People will think you are such a genious...don't tell them how easy they are to make=)

I love these! I've made these several times over the past year, and they are always a big hit. I like to add 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract to the oreo mixture. I usually only have to use 1 1/2 packages (or 12 squares) of the chocolate to melt.

I have mixed feelings about these truffles. While they truly were easy for me, the end result did not suit my taste. After sitting in the freezer in an airtight container for a few hours I only tasted all the flavours separately and I didn't like the tang of the cream cheese. I tried one today and it seems that all the flavours needed time to meld together as I did not taste the cream cheese today. Now I love Oreos, but for some reason, as much as I want to love these, I can't. They aren't bad per say, but it's not something I would make often or in large quantities. It just didn't make my taste buds dance.

I know this recipe says "easy" but all my friends and I think they are a PAIN to make because it takes so much time to roll and dip them. They are worth the effort at least a couple of times a year though because they are really good and really rich!

I thought these were just ok. I did half in white and half in milk chocolate(Bakers)The milk (semi-sweet) went much faster than white chocolate. They are definitely rich. Little too much chocolate for me but the kids enjoyed making (oh what a mess) and eating them. Not a truffle for sure. Don't think I would make again but thank you for the recipe.

Super easy to make. Made it for people and my work and they loved it. They all asked for the recipe and for me to make it again. One suggestion, I would only use the Baker's chocolate, I tried using nestle chips the second time and it was pain and didnt work as well
