My daughter that does not like avocados loved this guacamole and keeps requesting it. I added the chopped red onion, lime juice, cilantro and chopped garlic as other reviewers suggested.

I used some of Sara from Iowa's changes like minced garlic, onion and lime juice. I even forgot the salsa and it still tastes great after I added enough salt to taste. It's better than the so-called "gourmet" stuff at the grocery store.

If I could give this more than five stars I would. I have made this time and time again and there is never a speck of it left AND always double it...at least. I have added a few things. I add about a 1/2 cup chopped red onion, the zest and juice of 1 lime, 8-10 cloves of garlic-chopped and about a half of a bunch of cilantro..chopped. I think the lime juice helps in slowing down the avacodos from turning brown in addition to adding great flavor. Even people who turn there nose up to guacamole love this! Thanks Juli for sharing a wonderfull recipe!!!

Very tasty! I brought this to my sister's house on Sunday and the two of us gobbled down the entire batch by ourselves. Will definitely make it again.

I didn't have any sour cream or onion powder on hand, so I substituted french onion dip . Also, the avocado I had was pretty ripe, so I mashed it rather than dicing it. The dip was fantastic! I used it with taco's and taco salad. This recipe is definately a keeper.

I followed other reviewers' advice and added my own chopped onion and fresh chopped garlic. I also doubled up on the salsa I also added the fresh lime juice and went just a tad bit over on the cream cheese and sour cream. I will probably keep this recipe however I think maybe will continue searching. This will be one for me to keep to fall back on in a bind

Excellent, Very Creamy but needed to add more than a pinch of garlic salt for flavor and lots of fresh cilantro.

This is a great creamy guac--but the taste of the cream cheese is pretty dominant (and I used less than the recipe called for), so if you want bright green color or bold flavor, this may not be the guacamole for you. We enjoyed it as a snack before feasting on Gerry's Chicken Enchiladas (from this site).

This was a little bland for me and my family even with the crushed red pepper. I liked the idea of adding the sour cream and cream cheese, but I ended up adding lime juice, cilantro, garlic, and extra salsa and crushed red pepper to add flavor.

This is the best guacamole I've ever made and I probably won't use any other recipe again. I mash my avocados and use fresh garlic and onions instead of powder. I add 3 tablespoons of pico de gallo because I like tomato chunks in it and also a tablespoon of lime juice so it doesn't turn brown too quickly. Everybody asks me for this recipe. My one complaint is it only stays fresh for a day before turning nasty-looking.
