Really tasty. I added onion powder instead of the fresh stuff.

This was ok. It was impossible to drain because the topping would have slid off into the bin.

Such a great simple recipe. I've made a couple of meatloaf recipes in the last weeks looking for the taste of this one! 4 stars because I changed it up just a little bit. So easy, threw all of the ingredients into the Cuisinart and added two cloves of garlic and a little salt and pepper. Threw it in the loaf pan with the the topping and cooked it for an hour and 15 minutes -- it was perfect! So glad to have finally found this staple recipe - next time I'll be making this with turkey and adding a little heat with some jalapenos or red pepper flakes.

I was surprised that my family liked this one more than the more extravagant meatloaf I made last week. They loved this one! Like many others, I added a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a clove of crushed garlic to the meat mixture. I did not saute the onions or garlic, and they were plenty cooked with the loaf. I used Dijon mustard. Yummy and so easy!

great recipe, I also added some bbq and steak sauce. The steak sauce broke up the meat a little and added a nice flavor to it. Added extra brown sugar and ketchup, and a bit less mustard, my family was very impressed. Its nice to go back to the comfort foods that you can curl up to with a side of mashed potatoes. Recipe makes great doubled and then you have left overs for the rest of the week. My family agreed it tasted better the next day when it had the night to marinate. Regardless, this is a nice easy meatloaf. Also, I used less onion (purple) because we have picky eaters. Also, it makes a difference when you take an older loaf of bread and cut it up and stick it in the oven to make your own bread crumbs. Cooked it an additional 30 minutes (granted it was doubled) and covered it with foil and took off the foil the last 25 minutes. Thanks for the recipe.

This meatloaf was really good. The only change I made was I doubled the ketchup and I had my brother and his family over and they love mushrooms (as does my family), so I added chopped baby portobello mushrooms. Everyone loved this meatloaf, I wish I had doubled the amount, it was gone so quick! Thanks so much Janet!

This is a super easy meatloaf recipe. I do agree that the topping could be doubled. I didn't feel like there was enough. This meatloaf is stellar for the amount of work it involves. I will use it again when I am in the mood for an easy and tasty meal!

I made it with crackers since I had those on hand. I think it would be better with bread crumbs. Next time, I will use those.

This was an easy but very tasty way to make meatloaf. I also substituted the beef for turkey and sauteed the onion in garlic and butter. I used Dale's steak seasoning because that is what we had in the refrigerator and it was great! My two year old picky eater even had seconds! I was honestly a bit worried about the topping because it was a first for me but I was pleasantly surprised.

It deserves 5 *s because it's so easy and good, just as it is. I tried it without ketchup topping and it's good as well.

My husband and I love this recipe!! Of course we made it our own by adding extras we liked. For those to claim the meatloaf did not cook completley, all oven times vary. For me this meatloaf cooked completley at an hour and fifteen minutes. Thanks for this wonderful recipe I will be making this again and again. My kids and hubby love it!!

This is the best meatloaf my husband and I have ever had! Neither one of us were big fans of meatloaf growing up, but this one blew them both out of the water! The only problem I had was it was really juicy? I used turkey meat so that might be why, next time I will keep it in a little longer. I used others advice and doubled the sauce, adding more or less of ingredients till I found the perfect taste. I also added Worcestershire sauce as someone suggested..wonderful! I do suggest also sauteing your onions and adding about 2 to 3 cloves of garlic..per taste, and oregano and basil to the meat as well.
