This was a very good base recipe. I did think it was a little bland but overall we really liked it. Just needs more seasoning & I added more veggies because we like our soups hearty. Will be fixing it again though.
I accidentally altered this recipe, but it turned out well! Instead of 1/4 cup of tomato sauce, I put in the whole can. Purpously, I added a small can (10 oz) of Ro-Tel diced tomatoes and green chilies, since we like spicier foods and I added a lot more shell noodles than the original called for. It was a nice amount of spice, but some would say it was too much. It also has a nice aroma! Enjoy!
I used this recipe loosely. I used hamburger instead of frozen meatballs, and I used two bags of frozen veggies, instead of one. I also added black beans in addition to the white beans and left out the Italian spices.. Turned out wonderful! So glad to see this recipe, because I needed something to work off of!
I made this for my family a few days ago and when we had all had our share, it was gone. This is so full of flavor and yummyness and I highly recommend it!
