These cookies are ok. They definitely aren't as exceptional as the rating and reviews lead me to believe. The lemon flavor seems a little artificial to me, as another reviewer said - kind of like fruit loops. Also, they are very soft cookies and I had to cook them longer than the recipe stated, about 11 mins. They are easy to make, but I probably won't make them again.

What a simple but delicious cookie! I made these for Christmas Day, and everyone loved them! Per other reviewers, I did add an extra tsp. of lemon extract. I'm sure 1 tsp. would be just fine, but I wanted to ensure I got a strong, tart lemon flavor. I ran out of confectioners' sugar so I rolled the remaining cookies in a superfine baking sugar. Both were delicious. Keep an eye on these as they bake. They can brown quickly. Thank you, Lissa, for this great recipe! I look forward to making these cookies every holiday season.

These were pretty good. I used lemon juice and lemon zest instead of extract because I think the extract has a chemical taste. I also didn't have any problems with the dough. I just dropped spoonfuls of it into the powdered sugar and kind of tossed it around forming it into a ball as I went. The cookies came out very cakey and not very crisp, but I took them to work along with some other baked goods and my boss raved about them. Thanks for the post Lissa!

These were recommended to me & I gave them a go....AND they are pretty darn good!! Even the ppl in my house that don't care for lemon, loved em! I didn't have lemon extract so I just used a bunch of lemon juice & vanilla extract. Unless you make smaller cookies, 1 box ISN'T enuff!! Lol Easy, tasty. Def make many more times :)

We love these cookies. Every year during the Holiday Season I make these cookies for my family. My grandchildren love them. I follow the recipe exactly and would not change anything. They taste great and go fast.

These are absolutely the easiest, most delicious cookies to whip up in a pinch. Whenever cake mix goes on sale I stock up on lemon! I've probably made these at least a dozen times over the past 2 years. I've got it memorized now.
