I made these for the first time right before Christmas. My kids went crazy for them! Needless to say, I had to make another couple of batches to actually take for the holiday gatherings. Great taste & so easy to make up!

Found them a little too lemony, but if you are a fan of lemon then try them. They are incredibly easy to make and take almost no time at all.

I'm a chocaholic but these cookies made me a believer. Not overwhelmingly lemony, which is why I don't eat lemon bars that much. So easy and quick!

I gave this 5 stars because it delivers what it said: a simple, cheap, lemon cookie. If you like lemon cake, you will like this one. Made for son's preschool and kids and teachers raved. Took to Christmas party and guests raved.

These cookies are delicious! I followed the recipe exactly, except that I used the other reviewers' advice and used a TBS of lemon juice, a TBS of lemon zest, and I also added about a 1/4 tsp of lemon extract. I put the dough in the fridge for about 20 hours. It made the dough very easy to roll into balls. I used a little over a tablespoon to form the balls. After rolling the dough in the confectioner's sugar, I baked them for 9 minutes. In my oven, 9 minutes was perfect, they were just browned on the edges and perfectly chewy inside. I will definitely make this again. Thank you for sharing your recipe!

Love this recipe! The insides are dense, but soft and moist. Excellent flavor that is the perfect amount of sweetness!

DELICIOUS! I baked mine for 9 minutes and they came out perfect. I would skip the confectioner's sugar next time as I don't think they need it. Soft, chewy and awesome! Will definitely be making again.

Delicious. The only thing I changed was to sprinkle a little powdered sugar on the tops of them after they baked because rolling them in sugar before baking didn't result in enough for my taste. I took them to our Christmas Even gathering and got rave reviews.

This is a yummy little cookie! Everyone loved them. The recipe made about 48 cookies and they all disappeared the first night! I had to make another batch the very next day.

Very easy and pretty good. Not as "lemoney" as I might have liked so next time I'd add lemon zest or more lemon extract.

This was exactly what I was looking for: quick, easy, incredibly delicious, and adding a good variety to our cookie plate. Thanks so much!! I would advise other users of this recipie to not put the lemon extract in until all other ingredients are added. Thanks again!!

These cookies were delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, except I used a tbs of lemon juice instead of extract. The cookies were soft and chewy. My daughters were able to help me roll the cookies into balls, and then roll them in the powdered sugar. It was so easy and a lot of fun for them. I can't wait to try this recipe with other cake mixes------I'm thinking strawberry, like some other reviewers have suggested.

-Diana's daughter- Absolutely amazing!! I followed the advice of some of the reviewers here (the store was out of lemon cake mix) and used yellow cake mix instead. They all turned out beautifully! Everyone I gave them to raved about it. I also used 1 T lemon juice and some lemon zest on the first batch. This is too little lemon taste, and I recommend using more lemon juice if not using lemon cake mix. I will definitely be making these again.
