Really good simple lasagna. Kids loved it because there wasn't anything green in it and it wasn't over-spiced!

OK....I triedto listen to the advice of others. I made sure that I added extra sauce so it wouldn't dry out. But then it turned out pretty runny. And there was no way that only 9 noodles were going to cover it all. So I had to use 12. It fell apart pretty east but no one really complained much. I would try this again with a tad less sauce than I used this time. ((It was wonderful the next day though!!))

5 stars for ease of preparation and good taste/consistency. I've also made it subbing 1 cup thawed, drained spinach for the ricotta/cottage cheese--very nice and not as rich.

This lasagna recieved rave reviews, "best lasagna I ever had!" I used fat free cottage cheese which made it a bit runnier. I also cooked the noodles al dente beforehand. Delicious!

My husband loves lasagna so I have been searching for a good recipe so I could make it for him. Since finding this recipe a few months ago I have made it 4 times. My husband loves it!!! The only changes I made was adding chopped onions and minced garlic to the meat while I browned it. This is so yummy and worth trying!!!!

So easy! I used ricotta cheese except for cottage cheese, and also used ground turkey for ground beef. We both loved it! I also used a lot of fresh garlic.

I added 1/2 red wine, 1/2 water and I think it made it richer. My husband said now he'll never have to buy frozen lasagna again and he's right this is a lasagna recipe I will definitely make again. OH-SO-EASY, and perfect for omitting and adding. Next time I'll try vegetarian!

Very good taste. However boil the noodles before you assemble the layers. Everything else was delicious!

This was excellent; the only change I made was to sub ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese. The meat-to-cheese-to-noodle ratios suited our tastes perfectly. The only changes I will make next time will be to added about a tsp of garlic powder and a tsp of red pepper flakes for a little zing.

Good and easy recipe for lasagna. I used a 24 oz. container of cottage cheese and cut back on the mozzarella. On the advice of another reviewer I just used regular lasagna noodles but they came out chewy. Next time, I'll use the no boil-not the fault of the recipe.

Nice, simple, easy. I am married to a picky eater who swears that my late mother tried to kill him several years ago when she made lasagna. He loved this recipe and said it was tasty. I did substitute 15 oz of ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese and added two cloves of garlic and two teaspoons of italian seasoning blend to the hamburger while it was browning. I also put 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and a generous splash of red wine into the sauce mixture. My husband says his faith in lasagna has been restored. Can't wait to have leftovers.

Super easy recipe! Since I used a much smaller pan (for only 2 people) I eyeballed some ingredients, but this turned out great. Another reviewer's remark about adjusting the amount of water used because of the consistency of the sauce was a huge tip. I used cottage cheese, but would like to try ricotta next time and had ground turkey instead of beef, but you couldn't tell the difference. I also followed some other tips and added onion and garlic to the meat when frying. Thanks for the recipe!

Ok, so I am irish wih an italian husband, I was so nervous to try this lasagna, but I had to simply because of time, MIL birthday (italian mother in law)OMGosh! This was a huge hit! With italians! HOWEVER! I could not possibly have made lasagna without these much necessary changes--->1. Couldn't bring myself to use cottage cheese, I used low fat ricotta. 2. What is lasagna without fresh cut minced garlic and basil!?!? So I chopped up 3. garlic shallots and added to sauce, I added the basil under the top layer of cheese. 4. I had some sweet italian pork sausage on hand and threw that in the mix, I think it made the whole thing! All in all, my husband was beyond impressed by his irish wife ;0) MIL was also! BIG hit! Also on a side note, you can easily cut the cheese mixture in half, this is WAY to much!
