So easy to make, really good recipe. I always make extra sauce because my family likes the meat. I also add a can of roasted garlic tomato paste.

Great for a quick and easy dinner, but I ended up with too much of the cottage cheese mixture. Perhaps a little less cottage cheese? Otherwise really good - definite hit! Thanks!

My kid liked it! The kid that ONLY eats mac n' cheese! A brilliant recipe for working moms. Easy prep time and excellent end result. Will definitely cook again, would love to add some onions next time and maybe cook a little longer. I like the crispy edges! Thanks so much!

excellent recipe. this is only my second recipe i have tried, and it was just excellent. i even screwed up the layering, and had to add the mozzarella as a layer by itself twice between the sauce layers at the top, and cover with the mozzarella... i don't think one can screw this up. enough for a couple meals and frozen leftovers (two person family). thank you for this special recipe. robbie

Very good. Indeed, the amount of cheese mixture is WAY too much for this recipe. I used 1 15-oz. containter of ricotta with same amount of eggs, mozzarella, parm, and replacing dried parsley with about 4 tbs fresh, and I replaced the 1/2 c. water with 1/4 c. water and 1/4 c. red wine. Very rich and tasty. However, a word to the wise: I unwisely chose to use 1/2 lb. lean ground beef with 1/2 lb. sausage. I think this would be a good decision if.. and I do mean ONLY IF... you have access to good spicy Italian-style sausage. Do not use "country" sausage or any sausage with a sweet base. Our local store had sausage, but it's flavored with sage and maple. Good with eggs. Bad with lasagne. Other than that, very simple, comparatively quick, little mess and rather tasty. I would, in the future, try it with a little garlic, some fresh basil, a dash of oregano, and maybe some cooked shrooms added in. I wouldn't use fresh shrooms, as it may make the dish too squishy and cause it to not "stand up" as a lasagne should. Definitnely worth a try with some tweaking.

This was GREAT and so easy. I substituted ground turkey breast, put in a little (just a little) bit more sauce, and added some of my own spices to the sauce. Used ricotta instead of cottage cheese. It didn't taste like store bought sauce at all, once you doctor it up. Thanks Joanie. We all LOVED IT!

Yes, this was super easy, but that's all it was. Flavor was ok, I'm not sure if it's because of the spaghetti sauce I used (Ragu traditional), but it was just average, maybe worse. I made this for lunch and all of us were starving (7), only 1/2 of it was eaten. No one took seconds...they opted for the mornings leftovers donuts...

This recipe is wonderful just the way it is, however, I am one of those people that has to constantly tweak, change, try or wonder "what if I..." Well one day I added about 3 ounces of shaved pepperoni to the sauce. Wonderful! Just added a little more depth to the taste. You can also grate or chip the pepperoni. Also try adding about 1/2 tsp ceyenne pepper and a little cheddar cheese. All of these just enhance an already wonderful recipe. (pssst make more sauce than called for)

This recipe proves the importance of reading other recipe reveiws before you decide to make something. After reading them all, I decided to use ricotta instead of cottage cheese, not use as much of the total cheese mixture, and to use at least half as much sauce as it called for. I think that if I had not taken these measures, that my lasagna would not have turned out as great as it did. PERFECT!!!!!

This was very delicious. I used the no-boil noodles, and you couldn't tell the difference. It was a big hit! Will definitely make it again.

The easiest and best lasagna I've made. Took 30 minutes to prepare, only because I added sliced mushrooms, onions and green peppers to the meat. Although it looked soupy when I took it out of the oven, after 10 minutes it was fine. I used regular (not no bake)lasagna noodles and Ragu.

This was super easy! Make sure you have plenty of sauce on the noodles, otherwise they are bit tough. This will be my new recipe for lasagna. Thanks for this recipe!

My husbands absolute favorite thing to eat is lasagna and I've been looking for an easy to make lasagna recipe- paticularly one where I didn't have to boil the noodles and one I could use store bought sauce. He's a pretty tough lasagna critic and he liked it alot. This was so easy to make and I'm glad I finally found an easy recipe to satisfy my husband's lasagna needs. The only change I made to the recipe was using ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese- it turned out great!
