This pie is delicious and quite tart if you use the recommended version of 4 egg yolks, 2 cans sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup key lime juice. I would suggest using the 10" pie crust rather than the 9" though, as I definitely had enough filling left over to fill one. I hated to throw it away.

Key lime pie has always been one of my personal favorites, but for some reason, I had never bothered to try making one. I was VERY pleased with how easy and how tasty this one is. Great "tang" and so refreshing! Will definitely be making this again (and trying NOT to think of the sweetened condensed milk ... oh well!) Thanks for this recipe!

This really couldn't be any easier and absolutely to die for! I let it chill for about 4 hours, topped with light cream and grated some lime peel over it. Beautiful and yummy.

This was really good. I made the recommendations of the other reviewers and it turned out fantastic! I thought it tasted a little metallic...kind of like blood? I suppose it was just the tang of the key lime juice. It was still really good though.

This was almost too good to be true. My very first Key Lime Pie and soooo easy to make. I did follow the advice of previous reviews and used 4 egg yolks, 2 cans sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup key lime juice. I was a little confused on how long to bake it. I left it in the oven for 25 minutes and it turned out perfect. I think the key to this recipe is to use fresh pressed lime juice. DELISH!!!!

Quite good with the alterations. But even though I am a citrus fanatic ( I believe lemon zest or juice can add so much to many, many baked goods) I still found it a tad lime-y for me tastes. Not sour, but lime-y. I did not, however, use any whipped cream as topping which could easily solve the problem. So in all, it was a delicious dessert... very creamy, smooth, and light. It tastes amazing with graham cracker crust too! If you wanted to add white chocolate to the crust, as a layer... I think that would make it even more amazing. ;)

Simple recipe with perfect keylime tartness. I used a garlic press to juice the keylimes, which made it easy to prepare.

The filling wasn't enough to fill even one graham cracker crust. It maybe filled it halfway, so you'd half to double the ingredients to get one pie. It was tart like I enjoy it,and suuuper easy to throw together. It was very creamy, and not "eggy" at all. You can't even tell they're in there. I think once you fix the problem with the amount of filling, it's 5 star pie!

I live in Thailand where ovens are not very common so I cooked the filling on the stove-top for 15 minutes (constantly stirring!) to kill any possible salmonella and to help thicken the filling. I also added a little bit of gelatin to ensure a firm set. It turned out amazing! I love this recipe and I will make it again and again!

I followed everyone else's suggestions, using 4 yolks, 2 cans of condensed milk, and 1 cup of juice.... It was too sweet! If you are normally not a very sweet person, I would just use 1 or 1-1/2 can of condensed milk. Then use 2/3 cups of juice, and 4 yolks. Baking time needs a bit longer than recipe, so just watch it. Other than the sweetness, I liked it. I will definitely bake it someday again.

I loved this pie, but no one else did, I think I squeezed in too many fresh key limes. I also modified it according to some of the other review. Great pie overall.
