I made this recipe exactly as directed with no modifications and I thought it was wonderful. I used fresh squeezed key limes (boy are my hands sore from those little suckers!) and made my own crust using the Graham Cracker Crust I recipe by Carol (I left out the cinnamon). The pie is tart, but the sweetness of the crust and the whipped cream balance it out beautifully.

pretty tasty - the texture of mine was offset by the type of condensed milk I used (homemade) but this was really good. Thanks!

With family in Florida, I have had a zillion key lime pies. This super easy recipe is about as delicious as they come! Made 50% more for a store-bought ten inch pie plate and still had room for more or a creamy topping. Great!

Loved this as a base recipe! I changed the recipe a little based on other reviews I read and it turned out perfectly. I was even told it was restaurant quality!! First I used 4 egg yolks, 1/2 fresh squeezed lime juice, 1/4 cup bottled lime juice, 1/4 cup bottled lemon juice, and 2 cans sweetened condensed milk. I used a premade 9 inch graham cracker crust and baked on 325 for 20 minutes. using the ingredients above fills the pie crust perfectly. i garnished the pie with lime zest, whipped cream, and lime slices. it was a huge hit at our fathers day cookout. great summertime pie and super easy to make. thanks a bunch!

Simple but yet so good. I loved the texture but not enough lime to my liking. I'll redo it with 3/4 cups of lemon instead. But this is really good. With more lime it will be perfect. Note : I used lime instead of key lime and 4 eggs. (5 seems too much)

Definitely add the extra can of sweetened condensed milk and I also upped the lime juice to 3/4 cup and added two teaspoons of grated lime zest. Good easy recipe for anyone!

Finally, a recipe that is both easy and delicious! I used only 4 egg yolks (all I had), and it turned out great. Husband loved it. A keeper for sure. Thanks for the recipe.

Wow!Simple and really, really good. I like a bit more tang so I added some lime zest to the mix. Served it at a small party and people wanted to lick the pie pan.

This was super tasty and impressive! Used 4 egg yolks, one cup key lime juice, 2 cans of condensed milk and store bought graham cracker crust. For the key limes: I found a bag of key limes (tiny!) at my local grocery store (in Massachusetts at Shaws) -- was time consuming to juice them almost all of them (with a juicer) and didn't even get a full cup (I don't think all would have made a full cup - and/or would just barely)...glad I bought a backup bottle. Also put some lime zest in the mix - maybe one tsp. This is sweet - but tasty - I liked the extra tartness from the zest. My bake time was about 25 minutes - watch it from 15 to 20 minutes...it just started to look like it was about to get golden (that would be too far!)...clearly done. Chilled in the fridge for about 2-3 hours. Reserved a few limes for garnish: I sliced and candied 2 of them (made about 10 slices)..basically sliced thin, blanched for 2 minutes in boiling water, pulled out. Refilled pan with one C water, one C sugar, brought to a gentle boil and put the slices back in, simmered for about 25-30 minutes. Took out limes and "dried" on a baking rack for about 1 hour, then tossed in a bowl with a little sugar to coat. Arranged on top -- Impressive and got props! Finished with store bought whipped cream...which makes it fancier looking around the edges -- and grated lime zest on it (like the pic!) Just put it on right before serving...it wilts a bit. This pie will make you a superstar - tastes amazing, easy

This was not only easy, but the best tasting Key Lime pie I've ever had! I used only 4 egg yolks, 3/4 cup key lime juice, & 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk, as others had suggested. If not for altering the original recipe I would have rated it 5 stars.

I put in 8 oz cream cheese and loved it - it combines the great taste of Key Lime Pie with what I love about cheesecakes - texture and the cream cheese taste adds dimension. I also like to make with a sugar cookie base.

Absolutely awesome! I followed a few tips. The 2 cans of condensed milk and 3/4 cup lime juice. The increase fit the crust perfectly. Yes, I used a pre-made graham cracker crust. Man, it was something else. I am stubborn about my star giveaway. Not this time! 5 stars!

SOOOOOOO easy! And quick! Great flavor with so few ingredients! I used bottled lime juice and it tasted really good but I will try with fresh juice next time because I know it'll be ever better! Slices held together very well after about an hour of cooling uncovered in the fridge.
