If made as is, I would only rate this recipe with 1-STAR, as I did not care for it the first time I made it. But, I was able to modify the recipe to make the iced coffee taste better. I used 2 teaspoons of Instant Maxwell Coffee, 4-1/2 teaspoons of sugar, plus 3 tablespoons of 'hot' water (which I either heated ontop the stove in a pan, or heated the water in the microwave) before adding it to the glass jar. Shook the jar well, then added a 2/3's cup of 2% milk, and swirled the jar around to dissolve the ingredients together. The end results, it made for a nice iced coffee. I am giving this recipe 5-STARS, but only because I liked how the iced coffee tasted after I modified it to suit my taste. One more thing... sometimes I like to enjoy a vanilla iced coffee, so I'll add a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the milk, then pour the vanilla/milk over the ice cubes. And to get even more coffee flavor... I'll add 2 coffee flavored ice cubes to my glass, then add regular ice cubes to my glass as well.
