So delicious and easy to make! This was so much better than a store bought cake. We wanted mint flavor, so we used Blue Bunny mint grasshopper sandwiches, and put a layer of crushed mint Oreo cookies in the middle. This was an amazing birthday cake, and a keeper for sure, thanks!

Big hit with kids and adults. Easy and yummy! It's not nearly as sweet as you think it will be. It's perfect.

I tried this with layers or caramel rather than hot fudge and then drizzled magic shell chocalate on top before freezing. I also used mini sandwiches. Great recipe. Thanks!

Not a "show-stopper" but the kids devoured it and asked if they could have this cake for their birthday too - so I think it deserves 5 stars for making my kids beg for more!

I made this for a party and everyone loved it! I followed others advice and blended the cool whip with some ice cream and chopped butterfingers, as well as sedums a layer of caramel sauce. Then I topped it with whip cream and more butterfingers.

Excellent and so easy! I used 18 ice cream bars in two loaf pans. None of us are crazy about whipped topping so I used vanilla ice cream, allowed it to soften then just used a spoon to mixed in shaved almonds, chopped snickers and toffee bits (sold by the chocolate chips). I layered ice cream bars then the ice cream mixture and repeated that again (I did cut the bars to make it fit better in the pan). I also lined the loaf pans with the plastic wrap and that was a great trick thanks Coco2727; I ran hot water over the bottom of the pan and removed the ice cream with the plastic wrap easily. It looked pretty even after it was sliced. I had hot fudge and Carmel for everyone to top their own. It was very sweet but hey it's an ice cream cake with tons of chocolate...but how can you go wrong? Thanks Klongmore for this amazing recipe!
