I followed the recipe exactly and it was pretty bland. At the end we added whatever we could think of to spice it up and it was okay, just average.

Very good and easy! I would probably substitute cubed beef for the ground beef next time, though.

This was very good! I took it to the picnic too. It was easy. I did use 1/2 lb of fresh mushrooms instead of canned. I did it in the crockpot, overnight, and stired in noodles in the morning. That way it made a one pot dinner. I also added a can of cream of mushroom soup. with roasted garlic. Will use this again! And I also figured that the sour cream was left out, so added that. My husband really loved this one.

My husband and I love fixing this quick and delicious meal when we have worked hard all day and just want something that is easy and good. This reminds me of moms when I was growing up.

I gave this recipe 4 stars because it served its purpose! It was quick, easy, cheap and wholesome. Yes, it is like hamburger helper but with lots less preservatives and trans fats. I think the recipe writer left out the sour cream part, but anyone who knows stroganoff knows to add sour cream before serving. We served over egg noodles like another reviewer suggested and it was a good dinner. Not gourmet, but is stroganoff ever gourmet? We will make again definitely! My husband and 21 month-old toddler loved it. Great for those quick week-night meals.

This was so delicious and easy to make. I cooked it for my roommate, and she couldn't believe that it called for so few ingredients. I was very impressed and will definitely have it again.

I was not impressed. This is a good "Quick and Dirty" meal for the family, but I would hardly serve it to guests. It *IS* very tasty, but nothing to rave about. My husband is a cooking enthusiast (it is is hobby), so I have high standards. I prefer stroganoff to have the creamy texture of REAL cream! This was far more complicated than a box of Hamburger Helper - for about the same result!

I leave the tomato paste out but add black olives. I am considering using some sour cream to give it more of a stroganoff taste. Other than that it is pretty darn good.

EXCELLENT!! Wow this was so good! I didn't think it was too salty at all, but I love salt. I did add a dollop of sour cream at the end just to make it more stroganoff-y. This was the only good recipe I could find that didn't have a ton of sour cream and cream soup mix in it. It really gives it a 'from scratch' taste. I will be making this again for sure!! I read another reviewer's comments that this was like manwich mix- I might just spice it up and use it for that as well. Good suggestion!

This was a pretty good, quick meal. It wasn't what I think of as a stroganof but still good. I served it with noodles and it made a good, wintertime dinner that everyone liked.

I was not expecting this recipe to be this good! I went with the woman who used Worchestershire Sauce And use 5 garlic cloves and it was great! I prefer more spicy dishes, but my boyfriend likes more bland dishes; this one was a good mix.
