I feel really bad because I hate to give bad reviews, and normally I just don't bother but this was really really not good, bland and watery. Maybe it's because I tried to make in the slow cooker. At one point my husband looked at me and asked what smelled so bad. I threw it in the garbage because no amount of doctoring could save it. Sorry.

We thought this turned out pretty good, we skipped the tomato paste and used sauce with herbs.

I prepared this for my family and it was enjoyed by all. Easy to prepare and delicious. Be careful about the amount of salt you add prior to bouillon as it might become to salty.

Fairly ordinary. Also fairly high salt with three boullioun cubes in it. Not bad but won't make again. I've notice a lot of recipes here are salt licks.

This was very good. Instead of tomato paste, I used 3/4 cup tomato sauce. Next time I will use just one onion and two cans of mushrooms. I would recommend this recipe.

This recipe tastes great. I didn't put in the mushrooms, onions or garlic (not my favorites) and I had to add more flour to get the consistency I wanted, but the kids loved it.

This was very bland at best. I tried a lot of different things everyone suggested and it still was not tasty. Would not make it again.

It was a quick recipe. I had to "doctor" it up quite a bit to make it palatable. I picked this recipe because of its high rating but I should have read the comments more thoroughly before deciding to make this dish.

I am only giving this a 4 because I tweaked it to our tastes. I added no water, because it seemed like it might be too runny and skipped the salt and reduced the bouillon. I browned the hamburger, onions and 1 heaping TBSP of minced garlic (jar found in produce section) in a fry pan. I added pepper to my taste. (a lot more than called for) I then drained and put in my crock along with 1 lg. can of mushroom soup (instead of mushrooms)and 1 sm. can tomato sauce, (instead of paste) and 4 bouillon cubes. I also added some paprika. I cooked pasta shells and mixed it in with the stuff in the crock after it was finished cooking on low. (meat mix cooked for 3 hrs on low) I would have used egg noodles, but realized I was out. This was GREAT!!!!!!!!! I don't usually like this type of meal, but even I loved it this time. Hubby loves this stuff. I served with grean beans and garlic bread. The mushroom soup made this soooo creamy and yummy. No need for added milk or sour cream.

I read all the reviews and only added 3 beef bouillon cubes. I tasted it after a few hours in the slow cooker and it tasted so bland so I decided to add the rest. Hoping it'd be a good meal, it was way too salty for even myself. My toddler loved it though. My husband did agree with another person who said it tasted like what they had in the military and said the same thing. I'll never make this again unless someone comes up with one that is less salty.

This turned out a lot better than I expected. I used beef broth instead of bullion because of the salt. I'll definitely make this again.

I have to agree with SHERRIBERRI519 - this is more like ground beef soup. I didn't like the consistency at all. I added more garlic, paprika and a good slosh of Worcestershire sauce because it was so bland. Yes, it's quick and easy but the end result is extremely disappointing. It gets two stars for at least being edible, but I won't be making this again. Sorry.
