This was very tasty, but the edges baked up quite hard by the time the middle was done (which took longer than indicated in the recipe). The cream cheese filling blended nicely with the chocolate cake. This would have been a bigger hit if the edges hadn't dried out.

YUMMY! We had this for Thanksgiving & I was so happy to find this recipe! Because I am in FL I did have to microwave the cream cheese mixture in 10 second increments and increase the oven temp slightly. Turned out perfect and a beautiful presentation! Thanks so much for sharing!!

I made this for my boyfriends birthday since he loves german chocolate cake. It was easy (which helps since IM not such a great baker) and came out great. He absolutely loved it and I have made it several more times per his request.

What a disaster! the cream cheese layer became mixed with the cake layer and the cake never baked. I had to throw it away! After being in the oven for 2 hours.
