This recipe goes over well with my husband, and he isn't a big vegetable eater. I've made this many times and I usually add fresh tomatoes, any of the small versions. I quarter them and add them to pan when I add the spinach. This gives it a little bit more flavor. Also, I don't ever use the extra oil. All I use is the butter, but even with that you have to be carefull because too much butter can ruin it. It'll be very greasy.

I used olive oil, no butter and a splash of balsamic vinegar at the end. Easy and healthy, yum.

I like the concept but used half the oil and butter. I minced my garlic, because that is how I "roll". Thanks for a great quick new way to have spinach.

This recipe was good. I only used 3/4 of the butter used and it turned out fine. The flavor is good, if you like garlic you will love this recipe.

I halved this recipe since my husband and I were the only ones who would eat spinach! I made it according to the recipe and it was way too much oil and butter. Asked hubby how he made it and he said his version he doesn't use oil...his version is great tasting. Next time I will try it with less butter and no oil.

If you like spinach, you will love this. It's just so yummy. When I make this for my family of 4 I have to double it because my kids are crazy for this yummy dish.

It was excellent. I always read the reviews on recipes before I make them. I know I should make the recipe the way that it is written for the first time, but I feel that is what the reviews are for. I did use the amount of butter they called for but I did not use the oil, and I did add parmesan cheese and tomatoes at the end of the cooking time. Will be making this one again.

Delicious! My husband who thought he didn't like spinach loves this. I've subsequently made a few changes: I use a little sesame oil (the dark is even better) along with the oil and butter, and it adds a nice flavor. Also, I add some pan-browned pine nuts and a little sprinkle of parmesan cheese when it's all done. This is so good we served it for Xmas dinner and everyone raved.

I really liked this recipe. After the first try I added some cracked pepper, salt & parmesan. Then the next time I added cracked pepper, a couple dashes of soy sauce & parmesan cheese! I love it! Even my 13 yr old son likes it.

I didn't really like this. It was okay, but I wouldn't make it again. It needed something else.. maybe garlic or more spices? Also, if you don't have the frozen spinich you can use fresh. Just use 6 cups to one 10oz.box

It is good but the others are right, cut the oil and butter 1/2 otherwise it is too greasy.

This one just did not wow me or my family. I made it exactly as in the recipe. It came out kind of mushy. We had to drain liquid out of it. Sorry, but won't be making this one again.

I cut down the oil/butter based on the reviews by others. Also added chopped onions and parmesan cheese. It was a great hit with my husband. I thought it was great--and I usually do not like dishes with spinach as the main ingredient. Thanks for the recipe!

Very easy and good recipe. I have made this as is and I have also made it with some adjustments to my tastes. I agree that cutting back on the oil and butter is a good idea or it can be a little greasy. I sometimes also add diced tomato and parmesan cheese and warm through. Good recipe that pleases the spinach lovers in my family. Thanks
