I made the Danish this morning and it smelled soooo good! We really liked the recipe. The only thing I would change is double the crescent rolls and make two pans with the same amount of filling. It was a little too much for us but a great special Sunday breakfast!

This is a really really good recipe, but tweaked a bit, it's even better! Add in a handful or so of fresh blueberries before putting on the top crust. Or a few chocolate chips. Soo yummy!!

This is so good! Worth every calorie! I tried this recipe on the last morning that my son was home from college. He ate a lot of it! I made half the recipe in an 8x8 pan, and it worked great. I added an egg to the cream cheese filling and didn't put in the lemon juice or sour cream, though I'm sure that would be very good. To make it extra healthy (ha ha), I also made a mixture of 1/4 c. butter, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup chopped pecans, and spread that on the top layer of the dough before baking for 30 minutes. It was divine! Of course, the icing was no longer necessary then. Next time I make this recipe, I will try using one of the shortcut puff pastry type dough recipes from this site. Yum!

Not the best danish ever but SO easy and fast...has a very good flavor. I'm thinking about stirring in some strawberry preserves with the cheese...why not?

I was leery about using canned crescent dough, but it made it all so simple and easy to do. This is a great recipe to play around with I think - a base to add on to. Thanks!

LOVED IT! I used Neufchâtel (1/3 less fat) cream cheese and although this was really good, I felt guilty eating it because of the amount of cream cheese it had in it. You won't be missing anything (besides the quantity) by reducing the amount by half, as others have suggested.

Very good. I did reduce the amount of cream cheese after reading the reviews (I halved the amounts), and still had too much. It was great, but for some reason my frosting was too runny and I had to keep adding sugar to thicken it. I will definately keep making this anytime we have the craving. Thanks for the post.

This was good. For those that are spoiled with delicious bakery cream cheese danish this might not make the grade; however, for an at home recipe this is great. Thanks.

well... i was really looking forward to this one, and although it was good, it wasn't as good as i'd hoped it would be. it was alright, but nothing exciting at all. bottom "crust" was very soft, but that was okay (i didn't prebake it like some others did.) it was impossible (at least for me) to get the top "crust" on so i made strips, thinking that'd work. i ended up with LOTS of filling (which i didn't mind, even though others complained about that) and not much "crust." i added melted raspberry jam on top of the cream cheese, and THAT part was good at least. overall, a good flavor, but really bad presentation and not very good texture. because it was so easy, i may try again rolling it into individual "rolls" like some people did. maybe that would alleviate the "soggy mush" problem.

WOW! If I could give this 10 stars I would. This was so easy to prepare, and delicious! I too, like other reviewers put a can of strawberry pie filling in it. I can't wait to make it again, and try other fruit fillings. Thankyou, this ones a keeper!

My boyfriend loved this (I thought it was great too)!! I did not make the glaze and I am glad that I didn't because I think it would have made it too sweet (and I love sweet). Great recipe, definitely a keeper.

Extremely easy to make. Very tasty. Husband loved it. I probably should have baked mine a little longer as the filling was a bit on the soft/runny side. It's better if eaten right out of the fridge. Taste was still excellent. Had to add a little more liquid to icing. Will make again. (and again, and again :)

Tasted good- you can't go wrong with the cream cheese filling, but the taste of the dough still had that strong canned flavor. Maybe a different dough next time!

These were good, and everyone that tried them loved the taste. I was a little disapponted because it tasted a bit too much like a crescent roll instead of a danish. I brushed them with egg and sugar to sweeten them up, but still not like I had hoped. I am planning on trying the Danish pastry dough on this website next. I would rather eat the store bought than these, but still good.

I used the advice from previous people and cut these into rolls instead. I also heated the icing for 10 seconds to make it easier to drizzle. I used half the cream cheese filling. OVERALL: AMAZING! I loved them and so did all my roommates and neighbors!
