Fantastic bars that have a lot of flexibility. You can adapt the recipe to your liking. Great for hikes, long road trips and camping as they store well and keep fairly long - unless you eat them all! Use any combination of chocolate chips, dried fruit, coconut, pecans, almond slices, or any other tidbits you'd like in a granola bar.

A wonderful breakfast treat made with almonds, raisins, and dried cherries that's way better than anything you can buy in a box! Use the baking nuts that aren't salted or roasted.

Coconut Granola

A quick, easy, and very delicious recipe that can be eaten for cold cereal, topping on yogurt or even for a snack. Because it does a better job that honey, I use part maltose syrup (purchased at Asian markets) to help bind the ingredients together instead of using all honey. Virgin coconut oil has many healthy properties and enhances the taste of the granola, but if that cannot be found you can substitute it with any other oil. Enjoy!

This granola recipe is tried and tested, I bring with me all my camping trips. It also makes a very filling and delicious breakfast. The only main ingredient in this recipe is the oatmeal, all the other ingredients can be substituted. This recipe is made without adding any honey or sugar, although if you don't have any dates at of home you can always add 1/2 cup honey to the other ingredients.
