Definitely very good! You should make sure you cook the corn bread all the way. I read a lot of the reviews before I made it and it came out great. My one complaint was that is (for me) was a bit dry. I added ketchup to my bowl but my husband was fine with it. We both enjoyed it very much and put it together very quickly by working together - practicing sign language while it baked and it was done in NO time flat.

My Husband doesn't like bread products cooked with backed food because he said it gets soggy but this didn't and with beanie winnies this was great. I used Jiffy cornbread and it was great.

Very Good! We added cheese just before serving. It tasted a lot like a baked corn dog with baked beans.

This is really easy and it tastes like a corndog. i only made this recipe because im broke and have been making a lot of cheap dishes lately. With that said, I say spend an extra 65 cents and throw in an extra can of baked beans... without it, the meat to bean ratio is a bit overwhelming. this would be good for a barbecue or an outside covered dish party or if you are entertaining a bunch of five year olds or men who like corndogs.

It was really good, my whole family loved it. And we actually had left overs because it was so filling. You may want to cook it a bit longer cause with the amount of time they tell you to cook it, the cornbread wasn't all the way cooked.

This is not a 5 star recipe, but WOW. When I have no time to fix a gourmet meal for my family, this fits the menu. My DH and 2 DS's loved this quick, easy, delicious meal. Again, not something you would find in a 5 star restaurant, but it is quick and easy and yummy!

I wasn't sure about this recipe as I started assembling it. Once it was done, boy was it delicious! I only used one package of hotdogs, and next time I'll use two. It tasted just like a corndog!

This is perfect for when you ar short on time ingredients or money. I had half an onion so I chopped that up and added it on top of the beans. It turned out great...thanks for the quick dinner xekoliara. I am sure we will have it again.

Super easy...kids loved the ingredients. I did add some brown sugar to the beans and for some reason I thought I needed a 2nd box of corn muffin mix (didn't look like enough). It was way too much! So stick to the one box. Also thought it could use more baked beans. Will definitely make again!!

MY KIDS DIDNT LIKE IT BECAUSE OF THE CORNBREAD. IT TOOK AN EXTRA 20 MINS TO COOK ALL THE WAY THRU. I DIDNT THINK IT WAS BAD BUT NOT WORTH THE TIME. EASIER ON A ROLL WITH BEANS ON THE SIDE!

Good, not great. The cornbread was gritty - maybe I just picked the wrong brand. Hubby said it was better as leftovers and wants it made again, this time putting the cornbread on the botom (maybe baking the cornbread first and then baking the beans, etc, on top?).

Fantastic and super easy! I made two different pans of this: One with beef hot dogs and regular baked beans and a smaller one with vegetarian hot dogs and vegetarian baked beans. I used a homemade cornbread recipe to which I added one can of creamed corn and a little asiago cheese and provolone cheese. I covered the bean and hot dogs with the cornbread mixture and sprinkled over the top some sharp cheddar -- not too much, but enough to make it crisp up and give a little more texture. Served it with asparagus and both my kids asked for seconds. This is a rarity with a picky eater in the house so this will definitely on our recipe list. Thanks!

This was awesome - I don't understand why some people didn't like it. If you like baked beans, cornbread and hot dogs (I used veggie hot dogs), you should love this. (If you don't, then why are you even considering it?!) One thing, though - when she tells you to cover the beans as completely as possible, she isn't kidding. I didn't have enough hot dogs and the sauce from the beans bubbled up through the cornbread, so it was kind of wet at the bottom and oozed out a little when I cut it into it. I just put it back in the oven for a few minutes and it was fine. But next time I may try that layer of grated cheese another reviewer suggested. As it is, my husband and I ate the whole thing!
