I don't think this is any EASIER than any of my other quiche recipes, but it's definitely delicious! Made a whole wheat crust which really enhanced it. DEFINITELY use fresh veg - it makes the whole quiche!

Very good and fairly easy. Needs a fair amount of salt and pepper if you're into strong flavors. Mine turned out a bit watery, perhaps because I used soy milk.

I agree w/ the other reviews. This is only a great 'starter' recipe. I used a homemade crust,5 eggs, about 1/2 c. milk, and FROZEN veggies (peppers, mushrooms, & brocolli). I buy & freeze sale items.I microwaved the veggies.A deep dish pie plate has to bake about 50 min.& my filling only filled the dish about 3/4 full.No sogginess for me. This was my husband's breaksfast this morning and he liked it. I will use this basic recipe over and over. thanks!

I used this recipe to make mini-quiches -- they were delicious! I just grabbed a box of Jiffy to make the crusts, and pressed them into a 9-serving cupcake pan. Then I followed previous reviewers in pressing cheese into the crust to prevent wetness. It takes more cheese than the recipe calls for (more surface area), but it's worth it. Half the recipe for the broccoli filling and the egg-milk topping filled my mini-quiches perfectly. They were done in 25 minutes at 350, and I sprinkled a little Parmesan on each one 5 minutes before they were finished. Yum!

My husband NEVER eats quiche... but he LOVED this one! I added a ton of garlic to give it lots of flavor. The texture was perfect. I'm not sure why someone said that it was too wet.

This recipe was very tasty! I used olive oil instead of the butter in the first step and omitted the butter completely in step 3. I used 1 small onion and frozen broccoli, which I parbroiled and drained on paper towels to get the liquid out. I used 1 cup of milk and 3 eggs, and also patted some mozzarella on the bottom of the crust to prevent the crust from getting soggy. I combined the rest of the cheese (mostly mozzarella, but I substituted about 1/4 C cheddar- I think it really benefited from the bit of cheddar) with the eggs and milk. It overflowed in my oven, making a huge mess, so next time I would leave some ingredients out and make a smaller one in addition, but it was still really delicious!

My first Quiche, and it was delicious. I put the cheese on the bottom of crust as someone suggested. I will definitely make it again.

This was very light. It took longer than 30 minutes to bake, and for the last 20 I upped the temp to 375. I added about 1/2 cup less cheese. The recipe also made more egg mix than the pie crust would fit. I will probably use 1/2 cup less milk next time.

Recipe is good but does need a few changes. I cut the milk back to 1 cup, turned temp on oven up to 375 and cooked it for about 45 mins (30 mins is NOT long enough). I have read that one onion is to much, I don't like onions and removed it all together. Easy dinner!!

I wonder if any of "allrecipes" cooks or experts have ever try to make this - and after that have they try to taste it - I do not think so, otherwise people who tried this recipe would not make so many additions to it or so many alternations to it. Please try it, before you post it as yours trusted recipe - do not try to lose your reputation. I did not care for this quiche at all.

This recipe is okay for a base to work from but after making it twice, it needed some changes. I have perfected it for my family. I pre-bake the pie crust for 7 minutes at 450, crust turns out perfect at the end, not soggy at all when you do this. I used 2 cups of cheese (half cheddar, half mozzarella). Milk should be reduced to 1 cup. Use 3 cloves of garlic. Perfect with these changes.
