These turned out okay. They were sweet and had a nice flavor, but were a bit heavy and dense and mine didn't turn out light or fluffy. They tasted fine, just heavy. I only had an 8" square pan so they took another 5 min to bake. I used homemade biscuit mix and a store brand yellow cake mix. I might make these again but they weren't the traditional sponge cake type shortcake I was expecting. I topped these with white chocolate pudding, fruit, and Cool Whip.
