I used the ingredients as written, but reversed the order just a bit to cut down more on prep time. I started with the meat browning, and at the same time prepped the onions and mushrooms. Removed the meat from the pan to drain, cooked the veggies, then went on from there. It was a good, warm and filling meal that was fast and easy to make, however I do agree with some other posters that it is not incredibly flavorful--if you are used to more spicey food. Adding garlic and some fresh herbs would round it out nicely.
Overall, I would make this again, with just some seasoning modifications.
