Saw some strawberries in the fridge that were about to go bad. I found this recipe and decided to give it a try. What a hit!! Everyone loved it. Will use again and again with a variety of fruit.

This was incredible and was so easy to make. The batter was so quick to prepare and wasn't too sweet. I used about a quart of home canned peaches (drained) and sprinkled a bit of cinnamon on top before baking. Very good!

Easy and tasty! I've made it with raspberries (the yummiest) and peaches/blueberries.

My aunt gave me this recipe about 20 yrs ago. I like it best with fresh strawberries but I've used canned peaches. Its great no matter what fruit you use and very simple. A great recipe for kids who like to cook.

Super easy! I used smart balance instead of butter and it turned out fine. I also added a dash of vanilla and used about 3 1/2 cups of fresh peaches... very good!

This recipe is so simple and deserves a five star rating. I have used it with apples, peaches, and pears. My husband and I agree this is the best cobbler we have eaten! I was out of all purpose flour when I first tried the recipe, so I used bread flour. The crust was so good I always use bread flour for our fruit cobbler.

I was torn between 4 and 5 stars, but it was so yummy I went for 5. Very easy to prepare. I used fresh peaches and blueberries and served it with ice cream. Not super pretty...but the taste makes up for it!

Wow! This was so easy and so tasty. I am not a cobbler snob in any way - I like fruit. I like dough. And I love combos of the two. I made this in a 9x13 pan, so I about doubled the recipe. I was afraid I did not have enough batter, so I quickly mixed up some more, so I maybe had 2.5x the batter in the pan. I used 3 10oz bags of frozen fruit (blueberries, raspberries, and peaches, 1 bag each). I read several cobbler recipes before settling on this one and followed the tips to add some cinnamon to the batter and to the fruit and I am glad I did. Even though I doubled the recipe, I did not double the butter. I had about 6-7 tbsp in the pan. When I poured in the batter, it looked too oily, so I took a couple tsps out and it was fine. I baked the cobbler for about 1hr 10 min and it was cooked through, the crust was a dark golden brown. Definitely a keeper!

We have nectarine trees and made so many of these this summer. They were a hit! I doubled the recipe and made in a 9x13 and cooked it for 10 minutes less. Delicious!

This was soo easy and really good. I'm not too keen on cooked peaches(hence the four stars) but my husband and kid really loved it. I am going to have to try with berries, should be REALLY GOOD! I was thinking strawberries maybe with pineapple or how about bananas? Has anyone else experimented different fruits?

This was yummy. I followed recipe exactly with the exception of a splash of vanilla and a couple of shakes of cinnamon. I used a 28oz can of peaches because that's all I had on hand. The topping was crunchy good and I served it with ice cream. Very easy to prepare and endless possibilities when it comes to the type of fruit.

This recipe is wonderful but I also like my cobblers to be more "bisquit-like". I used fresh nectarines and some frozen blueberries I had. It was delicious and my family loved it. I did have to cook it for longer than 60 minutes to get the batter on the bottom cooked all the way.

I doubled the recipe for a 9x13 pan, and I used seven peaches and 1/2 cup of blueberries (i.e. I packed the dish full of fruit). I baked it for 70 minutes. My bf said "I've never had anything like this, and it is so awesome."

Came out more like a cake than a cobbler. I only used 2 Tbs butter and 1/2 cup sugar. For fruit, I used sweet plums and tart nectarines. It tasted okay and was better topped with vanilla ice cream.

The photo doesn't do this recipe justice. Loved the ease of making and short of amount of time required. I used 2 large peaches and about 1 cup of fresh blueberries and the result was devine. Great cakey crust and crispy on top, especially with sprinkled sugar on top.
