Messy, but easy to make. I used mozzarella instead (that's what I had in the fridge) and it still tasted quite good. Will use more cheese next time and probably pound the chicken more (it tasted quite 'thick' too me, although my boyfriend thought it tasted great).

Great recipe...very easy! The first time I made it, I used 2 pieces of ham. The second time I made it...we decided to use prosciutto. Tasted great!

This was a quick and yummy recipe! I used sliced swiss cheese instead of the string cheese. It was great! I will be fixing this one again!

It was pretty good and would do just for a family night or close friend dinner. For a nicer meal, I'd stick to a more traditional recipe.

These were great. I made the recipe "Chicken Cordon Blue II" (also from this site) the night before and had some sauce left over, so I made this recipe for the chicken the second day and served it with that sauce to do a comparison. To me the sauce is the best part so I would probably recommend that recipe over this one. However, I think I enjoyed the chicken more with this recipe because it was so juicy. So if you make this recipe, try making the sauce from the other recipe to go along with it. You'll love it.

If the cheese had stayed in the chicken, this would have been a very good recipe. Unfortunately, it all melted outside of the chicken (even with multiple toothpicks holding them). If I can figure a way of keeping the cheese in, this will be an excellent, easy recipe.

This was good. My boyfriend loved it.... I didn't so much because I don't care for the ham and cheese with chicken but overall easy to prepare and it made a good meal.

Great, easy recipe. I made it for my boyfriend and his room-mates and they loved it! The local store was out of bread crumbs so I used cornflake crumbs and it still tasted great.
