These were excellent muffins. One tip though, DO NOT FILL TO THE TOP!!!! Mine just came out of the oven and they were overflowing and extremely messy!! Second batch was filled 3/4 full and it came out much better. Both batches were delicious though!! I totally recommend these!

Absolutely Delicious!!!!! I doubled the cinnamon and used 1/4 cup apple sauce and 1/8 oil like other reviews suggested. The topping makes way to much, so make sure you dont use it all. Too much butter on top makes them soggy when they are dont cooking.

This recipe was really easy to follow and the muffins were absolutely delish. I used 1/3 cup applesauce instead of oil, and for the topping I used 1/2 cup sugar instead of 3/4 cup. Thanks for a great recipe. I will be making again!

These muffins turned out really good! The only problem that i had was that the topping called for WAY too much butter! I didn't even use a half cup and it was way too much. But other than that they turned out great. I will definatly be making them again!

Fantastic moist muffins, easy to make. I like to glaze with maple syrup instead of the recipe's topping.

I used half light brown sugar and half white which turned out very well! i also kept the pieces of apple pretty big because i love the big pieces in there so you can really taste them. Also i used half oil and half apple sauce which was really good. i liked the topping but there is a lot left over. i thought i would just put extra on the tops but it made the muffins greasy on the bottom...so just put a little of the topping on!! maybe i will use less butter with the topping next time. Other than that they were really yummy! I don't know why the recipe says it makes only six muffins..i got 12 out of this one!

This is an excellent recipe!!! I love it! It's really easy to make (except for the peeling and chopping of the apples part. lol) and also the ingredients are easy to find and readily available in most kitchens. I followed the recipe exactly but without the streusel toppings and the muffins came out perfect! My whole house was filled with the yummy fragrance and the muffins came out moist, tender and fluffy. Next time i would try reducing the sugar by one tablespoon as the apples were quite sweet. Enough said, this is the PERFECT apple cinnamon muffin recipe. Easy and delicious! TIP: Melted butter can be used instead of veg oil to make the muffins more fragrant.

Awesome recipe - my boyfriend said they were the best muffins he'd ever tasted. Only changes I made were using 2 teaspoons of cinnamon instead of one and adding a splash of vanilla to the batter. I also found the batter to be kind of dry so I added a bit more milk. I got six big muffins out of this with some batter left over. Very moist and delicious...definitely a favourite.

I followed this recipe with only two minor changes...I didn't have enough oil (only 1/4 cup), so I melted some butter and added it the measuring cup until it reached 1/3 cup. And, I used 1/2 cup regular sugar with 1/4 cup brown sugar. I did not make the streusel topping; the muffins were great with out! These are the BEST muffins I've ever made. They are so moist. They taste like a mixture between apple pie and apple cake. *I happened to have a fruit basket from Christmas that wasn't getting eaten fast enough. So, I used the golden delicious apples from it.

This muffin recipe is a winner in my book. They taste out of this world!! I actually grated the apples instead of chopping them up. And I added rolled oats to the streusel topping instead of flour. To those who said there was too much butter in the topping, I dont think you are mixing it up quite enough. You have to cut the butter in really good. I plan on making these again soon, but using whole wheat flour and 1/2 applesauce instead of oil like other reviewers stated. Great recipe!

Very tasty muffins, and easy to make. As suggested by other reviewers of this recipe, I used half the amount of vegetable oil and half applesauce. The only con for me was that the muffins didn't rise well and stayed rather flat, although I used enough baking powder.

Veryyy good. Took a little longer than expected from the 'easy' title (because of the apple slicing and making the topping), but totally worth it. It actually took about 30 minutes in my oven. I completely reccomend this recipe, it's great!

These muffins are fantastic, but I have to say, next time I will cut way down on the topping of leave it off all together, it ruined the taste of the muffin for me. I have a sweet tooth, but these were a little much. **Update, made these again with just a little cinnamon & sugar on top instead of the topping called for as someone else did per their review and they came out way better in my opinion.

These muffins are delicious. I also substituted 1/2 cup whole wheat flour for the white -- a little more fiber without taking away from the flavor. I would agree with others who said not to fill the muffin cups more than half way. I filled mine about 2/3 and the topping spilled out all over my oven. But they were still delicious!
