Right now I'm giving this 4 stars. It tasted phenomenal (I added a little garlic), but the texture wasn't quite what I wanted. I added the parmesan in 1/2 cups, but I couldn't get it all to melt down- I still had little parmesan pieces in the sauce, and it seemed a little runny. I added some cornstarch and ran it through the blender and it turned out satiny smooth and thick. Lovely. PS- this is amazing over gnocchi.

SO SO SO Good! and easy! I used on roasted veggies (brocoli, cauliflower, baby carrots, red onion and garlic) All I added was some roasted garlic and pinches of various freshly ground dried herbs/spices (rosemary, basil, sage, crushed red pepper...etc) Delicious! Thanks a bunch! -cheri

Made this for the first time tonight. It wasn't thickening enough, so I added a little cornstarch. It seemed to do the trick. This is a great base recipe. I wasn't able to use freshly grated parm. I added garlic powder and pepper to taste. Also a little chili powder, and paprika, just enough to give the tiniest hint of a bite. I loved this with what I added, but my husband did not like the grainy texture. It was probably because I didn't use fresh parm, but it was grainy. Luckily it reminded me of OG's alfredo dipping sauce, which is to die for. Definitely delicious and EASY

Very simple. If you add crab meat with shrimp, its to die for. Dinner in minutes. Also, use fresh parm and garlic when possible along with garlic. -cook the lump crab meat in the sauce -sauté some shrimp in fresh garlic and butter and a couple shots of your fav hot sauce. top your parm alfredo pasta with it for a delicious bite.

I went out and got the store bought alfredo sauce and it was the biggest mistake I made. I didn't have much time left, but decided to try this recipe anyway, and it worked out great. Not only is this recipe easy to make, but I tastes soooooo good!!! Thanx Kathy Rose!!!!

This is so easy! I thought the parmesan was a little over powering the first time so I just cut back on it the next time. Add some pepper and garlic and yummy, yummy!! My husband and I love it and it even passed approval from our 5 boys!!

This was an easy recipe! It was a bit too thick, so next time I will decrease the cheese. Other than that, it tasted great!

My son really enjoyed this. My cheese was a little grainy, but I think that if I used fresh grated it would be much better. I also added a little garlic. Kids actually asked for it again already!

Recipe was great. I mixed it with garlic and shrimp; however, it was a little thin for my taste, and as some reviewers suggestes i added flour, that made it chunky, and some of the bumps never smoothened. Otherwise delicious.

I love alfredo sauce and I like this recipe for its simplicity and proportions. I used margarine and I did not find it to be too salty. I actually added a half tsp of garlic salt before tossing with the pasta.
