For a slow cooked meal, this has to be the best. I gave quickness a 5, but it is supposed to cook in 5-6 hrs.

I found that I needed to cook it longer than 4 to 5 hours on high. I don't know if it is just my crockpot or it should be cooked around 6-7 hours on high.

If you have the time this receipe is ever better if you brown the meat first and add some more seasoning, like a bay leaf.

While this is a really quick and easy potroast, the flavor leaves a lot to be desired. The potroast wasn't very brown - it was an unattractive grey color. There need to be more seasonings - the whole thing was pretty bland. We won't be using this recipe again.

I browned the roast first and added about 1/4 cup more water in the crockpot. The roast was tender and juicy. It tasted even better the next day.

This meal is very easy to prepare. Added a bay leaf for a little bit extra flavoring. The Crock Pot makes the meat melt like butter in your mouth. Absolutely Delicious !!

The meat and vegetables were tender and juicy. The sauce was flavorful, but a bit thin. I added flour to make it like a gravy. This was so simple and so delicious. My husband LOVED IT!!

Cook this roast on high for at least 6 hours, cooking it on low dries the meat out quite a bit. We didn't find it bland at all. I would have to try the suggestion of browning it first for a more asthetic appeal.

This was the driest roast I've ever made. I thought it would be juicy, particularly because it was cooked in a crockpot. No such luck. We won't be having this again.
