Mixed reviews on this recipe. I followed the changes others suggested,3cps. confectioners sugar, 2 cups brown sugar, and 1 cup peanutbutter. After pouring in the pan I left it out on the counter to "chill" since many others said not to refrigerate. I tried it about 2 hrs later and it had a soft consistency, not fudgelike. I put it in the refrigerator overnight hoping it would harden, which it did, but still not the consistency of what I think of fudge. Took it to a family cookout and some really liked it and some were just ok with it. I might try it again another time but will look for another recipe in the mean time.

My husband loves PB fudge, and has trouble finding kinds that taste peanut-buttery enough. This is awesome, great PB taste, wonderful texture. I used the 1 c PB, 2 c brown sugar 3 c pow sugar recommendations. For those who had trouble with butter floating to the top, or crumbly when mixing in the pow sugar, I think it's the cooking time. I timed it from the second I saw two bubbles break the surface, then exactly two minutes after I took it off the heat. After mixing in the powdered sugar it was still of pourable consistancy. It did look a bit shiny on top as it cooled ( COOL AT ROOM TEMPERATURE! ) but that went away when it cooled completely. Do not refrigerate the fudge!

I just made this fudge, I chose this recipe because of the ingredients were what I usually have on hand in the cabinet. I have to say I did reduced the brown sugar to 2 cups and the powder sugar just to 3 cups. It turned out great. It was smooth and creamy, I am sure I added a whole cup of peanut butter though, we love peanut butter! So very easy to make, it set up in no time and was gone in no time too! will make again and again.

I made this as directed. It set up perfectly and was soft and creamy. but for me, it was way too sweet. I worked on one piece for about an hour! My husband on the other hand, gobbled up 2 pieces like nothing. So, it just depends on what you like. Good recipe though, and sooo easy! Keeper!

Like other reviewers, we used 1 cup peanut butter and 2 cups brown sugar. The fudge was wonderful in taste but not texture (hence, the 3-star rating). The texture was dry and somewhat flaky. We'll look for another recipe for peanut butter fudge, because creaminess (along with taste) is highly important to us.

This fudge recipe was amazing!! The only change i made was I use evaporated milk instead of regular milk, I only did this because I had half a can left I didn't want to waste. This recipe will be in my collection for years to come!!

I made this recipe exactly as directed and I was not impressed at all, it was just okay. I could taste the powdered sugar stronger than the peanut butter. Next time I will follow some of the suggestions posted by others.

great, fast and easy. i didnt even measure out exactly - just eyeballed the ammounts and it came out perfect!!! my dad, the fudge expert, LOVED it. the trick is CONFECTIONERS sugar, if you use regular crystal sugar, it may not harden. i want to find ideas to spice this up - maybe chocolate or almonds! yum!
