Great recipe - wonderful flavor. I had to "knead the dough" at the end to incorporate all of the confectioners sugar, but the consistency was excellent and smooth at the end.

I had never made fudge before but had a craving for it. I had all of the ingredients on hand to make this and was pleasantly surprised w/ the ease of it. Follow the instructions and you shouldn't have any trouble. My mom, who is an expert fudge maker was even impressed!

The fudge is still cooling, and I'm still picking off the little pieces and chunks that took to flying around the kitchen and attaching themselves to everywhere they landed when I was using the electric beater. I couldn't even get mixer to med speed cuz the flying objects became like heat seeking missiles. If I had put it on high, I'd have taken out my husband, dog, and plants , So, I beat it on just above low. And like in so many more reviews, it was in pieces and chunky, never even made it to clumpy... I followed another survivers review and added 2 tbls milk... It got creamy smooth and sticky... Stuck it in 8x8 pan and put in fridge... It was really sweet, maybe semi sweet choc. frosting might tone it down.. If I can get it out of pan when it cools, I'll taste it again and see if it's worth it, jwmudd

I make this all the time, but use 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/3 c. light karo syrup and 4 c. confectioners sugar. It is sweet enough without adding more brown sugar. Just smash it all together and pat down in an 8" by 8" pan. No cooking, and so easy, can even add some crushed peanuts or even use crunchy peanut butter. Still need the 1 t. vanilla, and can even add a dash of salt if desired. Easy and delish.

I made the recipe as is and it was okay, but extremely sweet, crumbly after it chilled (which surprised me a bit because the consistency was nowhere near crumbly before I chilled it) but it still turned out melt in your mouth. I wish I did follow the other reviewers advice to get a more creamy fudge. This is a good base recipe to start with, but it definitely needs the adjustments to make it 5 star. Thanks for sharing.

This fudge is amazing. I had never made fudge before but this was soo easy and turned out perfect. My boyfriend had bought some peanut butter fudge and it was so bland, I couldn't beliebv they could sell it. This stuff could sell for a lot. So much flavor. I am giving it to my friends and relatives with their christmas gifts. Thanks for helping me impress my boyfriend. I'm 22 and new to cooking and this made him praise me! :)

I really like the time it took to get it into a pot and then into my belly. I am a very busy person so this recipe was right up my alley. I did use a little more peanut butter tho!

I used 1 cup peanut butter, 2 cups brown sugar, and 3 cups powdered sugar (which I sifted) as others have suggested. I set the timer for two minutes after it came to a good boil, as opposed to setting the timer as soon as I saw a few bubbles. The fudge set up perfectly, had a good texture, and tasted pretty good. I'm not a fan of peanut butter fudge that has a strong brown sugar taste as this one does, so I'll be going back to the recipe for Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge on this site, which I prefer.

This came out amazing. My first try at fudge, this was easy and delicious. I actually had to substitute 1.5 cups of brown sugar for white,( i ran out of brown sugar lol) but after adding an extra teaspoon of milk, it turned out creamy and wonderful.

My fudge also turned into little pellets while mixing (with an electric mixer), and had a layer of grease on top. I followed the directions exactly. Any ideas what went wrong???????

so easy and so good. started 2 minutes at rapid boil, put 3 cups confectioners sugar in eletric mixer and started mixing and then poured in peanut butter mix...mixed until it started to look like the soft ball stage and stop and then poured in 8x8 pan and flattened out. SO AWESOME! Used 2 cups PB and 3 cups of confectioners sugar as suggested..
