I'm rating based on the former comments.. 2C brown sugar, 1C peanut butter & 3C confectioners.. EXCELLENT & oh so simple!! I'm afraid my peanut-butter-loving roommate will be asking for this one ALL the time now! **update** made this one again this morning & it was just as simple & perfect. was a big hit at the office, in place of a birthday cake.

This recipe is much, much too sweet, to the point where it's not enjoyable. Sorry. Brown sugar is an interesting touch but it's not needed considering the sweetness of the peanut butter and powdered sugar. If you must add brown sugar though I'd say no more than 1/2 a cup. This one's a miss.

Great and easy recipe. I added a handful of chocolate chips for a swirled peanut butter/chocolate fudge.

AWESOME FUDGE! fudge was super easy to make. I followed all directions, except I did follow some users suggestions of: 3 cups of pwdr. sugar, 1 cup peanut butter, 2 cups brown sugar. I also used Evaporated Milk, gave it a richer taste! I used my mixer to incorporate the hot mixture w/ the powdered sugar. It became very smooth and cooled quickly. Line your pan w/ plastic wrap or foil for easy clean up and smooth appearance. I used a 9 x 13" pan and it made the perfect thickness for us. Fantastic Fudge Recipe!

This is genius! I am not a very good baker AT ALL. However, without sticky marshmallow creme and a candy thermometer--this fudge is just the best, I can't stress that enough! It's easy and I think that's why i've made this 6 times. Seriously- the only problem i've come to find is that it uses a bit of dishes, but that goes for any fudge. Tonight I'm going to try and replace peanut butter with pumpkin since monday is autumn! TRY THIS RECIPE FOLKS. !!

I give to prep a 4 but with the alterations I'd give it a 5 in tast.I found it hard to work with once you add it to the power sugar so I added 1/4 cup more milk and heated it up 2 minutes in microwave, but it turned out great and every one loved it so I;d say it was a keeper

Per the reviews, I scaled down powdered sugar to 3 cups (good thing, it was VERY thick even with this) and upped peanut butter to one cup. Here is the thing, it tastes JUST like the center of a "buckeye" christmas cookie. Those are the peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate. Which I love, but arent quite the same thing as fudge to me. These are more sweet than peanut-buttery, even with the increase in PB- I can only sort of barely make out the pb taste. I've been trying various peanut butter fudge recipes on this site and I think I will keep looking. Not enough peanut butter taste but not a bad sweet treat overall. By the way if you use a 8 by 8 pan it make for pretty tall fudge (the picture is accurate). You could probably use a slightly larger for lower-profile fudge.

It's still chilling, but so far it looks like it's turning out great. I followed the advice of several other reviewers and did the whole 2 cups of brown sugar, 3 cups of powdered sugar, and 1 cup of PB. Since I don't have a mixer I did it all by hand (I don't recommend it...). Took about 5 minutes of vigorous mixing to get all the clumps of powdered sugar mixed in and for it to become smooth. Tasted great off the spoon. ;) **UPDATE** Tasted great and was a hit! A bit sweet, but tasty! The PB flavor was not overpowering at all and it came out just like regular fudge. Thanks for the great recipe! I know what I'll be making this holiday seasoning for the gift baskets.

This is the first time I've ever made fudge so I was not surprised when it turned out more like a goey mess that tasted like peanut butter!!! I'll have to keep working at it.

This was surprisingly good, and easy too. I decreased the brown sugar to 2 cups as suggested by another review. I also cooked the brown sugar, butter and milk in the microwave instead of on the stove. It worked perfectly, I just checked on it after 2 minutes and made sure it was at soft ball stage. I also added a half bag of mini marshmallows to the hot mixture before adding the powdered sugar...makes it a bit creamier I think. Altogether, a good peanut butter dessert!

This is great fudge! I have tried many recipes for peanut butter fudge over the years and without fail, they all turned out horribly. But that all changed with this recipe. It is easy and can be made with a few ingredients. I didn't have enough brown sugar and used about a half cup of granulated sugar and it was still great! I really recommend this fudge!

Not the creamiest, but due to the ease and ingredients always on hand, this is a winner. Not too peanut-buttery, either, which is a plus on some occasions.

I love this recipe!!! SOOOO easy (i followed the previous poster's advice of reducing some ingredients)!! also, i didn't have brown sugar, so i substituted Jif's Peanut Butter and Honey because i noticed it contained molasses and hoped it would work.....well, it definitely did! Next time I will try it with brown sugar and regular peanut butter to see if there is a big difference in taste. :)
