Very easy and delicious - I used a cheese slicer to slice the apples and it was perfect. The streusel topping is amazing - I kept it simple and served it with vanilla ice cream - it got rave reviews.

Very good pie, but beware that this recipe makes enough streudal topping for at least two pies! Just make 1/4th to 1/2 of the topping called for and lightly sprinkle it on top. Don't pack it down or it turns to a solid brick because of all the butter.

I love apple pie, and this was a good recipe, but in my opinion this isn't exactly the best I've ever had. However, I'm giving it a 5 since everyone who had a slice said it was amazing.

YUM... I can not say enough wonderful things about this recipe. It was probably the best apple pie I've ever had. The lemon added a little bit of a zip that I wasn't expecting, and I may try it without the next time but I also loved it with it. Will definitely make again.

I have to say, this was great! I actually don't like apple pie because I think they are sickeningly sweet, but this one was just right. Thanks for the rec.

This was a huge hit at Thanksgiving! It was so easy! Be sure to use a tray under the pie when baking, there will be bubbling!

I made this for a church bake sale and it was gone like in 5 minutes! People were fighting over the last piece! The streusel is awesome! I've tried it on other desserts and it makes them totally yummy.

This was wonderful! Made it with fresh picked apples this fall and will definitely make it again. Did cook a bit longer so apples were really soft. Will definitely make again.

Mmmmm Mmmmmmm Mmmmm... This was a great tasting and easy recipe. I made this on about four times.. I also didn't add allspice or lemon zest. But it still came out really good.

I really liked the apple pie but the streusel topping was dry. I didn't like it at all. I'm going to try something different, more butter & brown sugar.

My first time ever making an apple pie and it was excllent!! Everyone wanted the recipe at Thanksgiving. The second time I made it though the filling seemed to be just a little too runny, so next time I'll add maybe just a little more flour. Thanks for the recipe!!

What a great recipe! If you follow the recipe exactly, the pie will turn out perfectly. The streusel topping is fabulous! So yummy!

This was amazing! The spices seemed really concentrated when mixing but were perfect after baking. Oatmeal Streusel was a wonderful topping. Defiently one to add to te recipe box for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

This recipe was marvelous, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I had to bake it an extra 20 minutes before the apples were done, so the total cooking time was more like 50-55 minutes. I would remove the lemon zest from the streusel topping because the lemon taste really conflicted with the cinnamon-nutmeg-allspice taste. Oh and I would also add more cinnamon and subtract some of the oats.

The topping was great, however the baking time for this pie is seriously wrong! Any apple pie that wants to get cooked needs longer oven time.
