Perfection! I didn't think I was going to have enough at first, but these puff up nicely! Made them with beef stew last night, and they went great together! I will definately be making these again! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

It was the first time I have made dumplings. I made them for the Irish chicken and dumplings found here. They were really good.

The dumplings came out super-soft and almost gooey. I know that I followed the measurements exactly. I would suggest you add more flour to get a firm dumpling and maybe less baking powder so that they don't puff up too big. I had to fish these out of my soup so it wouldn't get ruined.

These dumpling were yummy! One thing that drew me to try them was there was no egg! I love eggs, but not overpowering the flavor of the dumplings. They were easy to make. The only thing if you are a dumpling lover is make the recipe times three. I only doubled it and still had plenty of broth for more. For my family, chicken and dumpling are just that, nothing else.......no veggies, nothing. This recipe is a keeper for us.Thanx!

Yum! I had never attempted to make dumplings from scratch before and WOW - was I pleased with the results!!! I used these in the Chicken and Dumplings III recipe submitted by Melissa. Awesome and perfect! So light and fluffy! My husband and I were both super impressed! Excellent!

A great basic dumpling recipe. My father was an excellent gourmet cook and made an all-star meal of roast pork, Bavarian sauerkraut, and dumplings. These dumplings were basic compared to his - but for ease of preparation and taste, this is a very good recipe. If you are cooking for a group of big eaters, better double, triple, or quad the recipe. I quadrupled the recipe and it worked well. However, keep in mind that if you do this, you will need a much larger pot to cook in or more cooking time.

Awesome dumplings! I used to have a great dumpling recipe, but when I moved, I lost it, and now that I've found this recipe, this is better than my old one! It makes wonderful dumplings, they taste wonderful in chicken & dumplings! :) Thank you for sharing this recipe!

I am traumatized from a childhood of eating Bisquick dumplings. This recipe has healed me! I made a simple chicken soup by boiling the chicken and adding carrots, celery and a few potatoes. The dumplings are so tender, flavorful and comforting, they thickened the soup to a perfect consistancy. My kids love it too! It's a great change from noodles or rice.

Finally after failing with other recipes I have found one that is a keeper. They turned out light and fluffy for me. I had to double the batch though. Thanks for a great recipe! We actually got to eat some dough boys (what we call dumplings) that weren't hard and gooey! Gloria

Great! The easiest and tastiest dumpling recipe I could find. I can't cook, but this recipe is so easy that anyone can make it. The only change I made was to make smaller dumplings. Next time I will double the recipe.

I wanted to make the Chicken and Dumplings III, submitted by Melissa, but I didn't have any canned bisquits. Since it was raining I really didn't want to go to the store so I looked up dumplings and found this recipe. I'm so glad I did, I just wish I would of made a double batch!!!

This was a very good recipe. I love Chicken and Dumplings and the dumplings weren't too mushy, but soft enough. Very very good. This will definetly be my "Dumpling Recipe" Just have to find the Chicken part! Thank you
