1st time making dumplings and I was nervous as I flashed back to the "hockey pucks" my nana used to make. My fears were torn away by the lovely fluffy delicious dumplings. Loved them. The family did too. Great recipe.

I have always had bad luck making dumplings in the past. Then I found this recipe. Not is it only simple, it's delicious. Reminds me of the dumplings my Mom made. mmmm

These were SO good and easy. I tripled the recipe and added garlic powder to the dry ingredients. They turned out excellent. My husband couldn't believe there were no eggs in them.

I decided to try a new dumpling recipe tonight after making the "bisquick" ones for years.... Only one dumpling turned out fluffy... the rest all fell to the bottom and were solid balls... :( The dough was also very sticky & wet and didn't form balls very well... I had to add an extra 1/2 cup of flour to the mix.

Excellent! Very tasty. I, too, added Parsley as another reviewer suggested. My hubby is diabetic so I used Spenda. I don't believe it made any difference in the taste from 'regular' sugar.

Great recipe, I did substitute regular milk for buttermilk and used approx 3/4 cup. They turned out really good!
