Yum! Delicious and super moist. I used applesauce instead of oil, whole wheat flour, and some extra spice and it turned out perfect. One dozen muffins and a loaf of bread. Next time I will add dried cranberries. Yum!

A ton of people have rated this and I'll just add another positive review. Really easy and delicious. As others, I used some brown sugar in place of some of the white sugar. I also doubled all the spices. I had a little trouble with the baking time. I baked it in a bundt pan, on convection bake and it took ALOT longer than 50 minutes. I actually lost count, but I would say at least an extra 15-20 minutes. It definitely gets better as it ages!

This is by far the best pumpkin loaf recipe I have come across! The recipe yields 3 loaves, but I baked 2 loaves, then added a little more flour and chocolate chips to the remaining better and made the best pumpkin chocolate chip cookies ever!

My family loved the bread. I had to cook it a little longer than 50 min. But other than that I did not change anything . My first loaf was gone the first day !

Ugh! omg! This is the best pumpkin bread I have ever had in my life! It makes 3 good size loafs! Oh and just to change things, I added some chopped walnuts one time, and chocolate chips another...the chocolate was not that great with it...but the walnuts were a hit. The original recipe is still the BEST way to have it! My whole family and the people at my work ate it up rather fast! Oh, and just a heads up...this is REALLY amazing with a little cream cheese spread on it...makes it oh so much better! if that is possible!

Just love it! I bought a pumpkin this year for the first time and may have over done it.. Bought a big one. This has given me the opportunity to try a few pumpkin recipes off of this site. Love this spicy bread! It's wonderful. Sometimes make it just so I can spice the house up with the lovely smell.

Delicious! This is the best bread I've ever baked. I've made it both as is and with various add-ins like walnuts, raisins, chocolate chips, and cranberries.

This is the best pumpkin bread I've tried! I have tried several recipes for it from this side and this is the one I am going to keep and make again for sure! I followed other comments and made several small changes. I added 1tsp vanilla and 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice. I also made into 1 loaf and 12 muffins, baked the muffins for 30 min. and the bread for 1hr 10min. but I do think it is just a bit over cooked so next time I will not cook them as long. I also poked holes on the top of them while they were hot and poured a hot cinn/sugr/butter mixture over the tops. It turned out delicious!!!

I am not big on pumpkin breads, or pumpkin anything for that matter, but when my 19 year old niece came down and wanted to take it home with her( I let her too) it had to be good. (Very, very picky eater). She said she doesn't like vegetables and she ate almost the whole loaf herself. That s a compliment. So, one her display of enthusiasm on the bread, it definately gets 5 stars. Thanks for the recipe.

This is awesome bread. I used a Cinnamon Plus blend from Pampered Chef and used 1 tablespoon to replace all of the spices. Also I warmed the canned Pumpkin mixed with the spices to bring out the flavor of the spices (also called blooming) and added that to the wet ingredients. I accidently forgot to add the water, but the bread came out both times just wonderful. I also put the butter, Cinnamon Plus (you could use Pumpkin Pie spice) and sugar glaze over the bread after coming out of the oven and poking holes in the top. I've already made two batches and am about to start the third. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

I only used cinnamon as a spice, and used two loaf pans because there didn't seem to be enough batter to fill three. but did not change anything else. It turned out fantastic.
