Excellent and super easy and quick to make. The bonus is that I was able to use the tomatoes and basil fresh from my garden. Will make this again and again. I followed a previous reviewer's suggestion and bought the chunk of mozzarella cheese and cut into slices to lay over the top of the mixture (or you can put on the bottom for a more attractive presentation). For those that don't know... you can have your grocer put the french baguette through their slicer and this will save you the step of all that cutting. It comes out perfectly sliced!

I love this recipe, and have made it many times. I regular tomatoes instead of roma, skip the sun dried tomatoes altogether and use either mozzarella or a sprinkle of parmesian. It is always a hit when entertaining!

This recipe was delicious! I used fresh tomatoes from the garden, as well as homemade sourdough bread. I bought fresh mozzarella from an Italian deli and put some slivers on top. I baked the bread before I put on the mixture, but I did not top with oil as some suggested - it was delicious and skipped unnecessary fat. Next time I will even use a bit less oil.

This was amazing! Make lots- it's great to snack on for days. We used sliced mozzarella and followed the recipe exactly. I was really glad I splurged on the fresh basil- it really added to the flavor. YUM!

I have made this several times and it is so good! I usually use the slices of cheese for the top because it seems to stay on better. I have used the baguette and have also bought frozen garlic bread...both are equally good! Excellent recipe!

I forgot the cheese, so I just left it off. I think it would be better without it. I made it as an appetizer for guests, and everyone raved about it. I snacked on it for a couple days afterward. Thank you so much for this great recipe!

This is great stuff. I use a can of petite diced tomatoes and skip the dried tomatoes. It is more cost of effective and faster this way. Everyone loves it and no one has ever noticed the difference. This is one I like to take to parties. Also, the cheese is unnecessary. If you don't have it on hand, don't worry about it. Make it anyway. It amazing even without it!

This is the most yummy bruschetta I've tasted! Be careful not to forget about the bread and burn it.

Best bruschetta ever! I made this as a side dish for dinner and ended up eating more bruschetta than dinner! Some changes: I left out the sun dried tomatoes since I don't like them, baked the bread at 350 instead of broil, italian bread instead of french because there wasn't any french bread at the store. Amazing!!!

I made my own french baguette, and used my fresh basil and my romas from my garden. This was so good. I also used monterey jack cheese. I just love the flavor so much.Thank-you, Thank-you, Ann
