They were ok. Using orange juice concentrate is a good idea. It's just tasted like they were missing something.

Wow, these were so tasty and a hit at a cookie exchange I took them to. They stay so soft and moist, even after a couple days. And the orange flavor from the concentrate is just enough. Next time I'll make more frosting (it got a little low at the end). Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe is wonderful! Many orange drop cookies turn our flat, but not these. Regretfully, I used a store brand concentrate. The cookies were tasty, but I think the flavor would have been more intense with a brand name juice. (This still deserves a five star rating, since that was my mistake.) These will look so pretty on a tray of Christmas cookies! Thanks Pamela! :0)

DH & I love these! They *are* tasty with or without the frosting. I wonder if these would be good w/ lemon instead.... Anyone tried it yet?

AWESOME COOKIES! Even before you put the frosting on, the plain cookies are tasty. But, with the frosting . . . YUM!! Thank you for posting this great recipe!

I also found these to be very moist and tasty. They have a natural orange flavor, not an artifical type of orange (like Tang or Kool-aid). Will make again.

I made this recipe for a cookie exchange. I had several people tell me that it was one of their favorites. I took that as a compliment because there were a lot of really good cookies there. This recipe is really similiar to Orange Drop Cookies IV on this site. I chose this one because it used orange juice concentrate instead of orange juice so it would have more orange flavor. I also prefer cream cheese frostings which this recipe had. It was soft and there was just the right amount of orange flavor. This is a recipe that I will make again. The only down side to this cookie was that I couldn't stack the cookies because of the cream cheese frosting so it made transporting them a little tricky. I had to lay them out on cookie sheets. I also doubled the batch and got well over 100 cookies. There wasn't enough frosting for the cookies. Next time I will make double the amount of frosting.
