These enhanced brownies were very easy to make, but look and taste like a trickier-to-make dessert. One thing that I did differently, out of necessity, was use vanilla yogurt instead of milk to get the middle layer to a speading consistency. (no milk in the house) I would assume it turned out just as delicious as the original would have.

I'm sure these are delicious if they're prepared correctly. MAKE SURE YOU USE CONFECTIONER'S (POWDERED) SUGAR. It's very gritty if you try to substitute.

I first started making these when they showed up in a 2002 Quick Cooking magazine. My family loves them. I also use the butter cream frosting in cookie cupcakes. Just bake your cookie dough in a muffin pan and fill the center when cooled. YUM!

Wow! Nice idea to jazz up boxed brownie mix. My brownie recipe was for an 8 X 8 pan and my mix came with a chocolate frosting packet. I also was wondering why I never thought to add pudding mix to my buttercream frosting. It added a nice subtle flavor. I will definately use that tip when making frosting. I will definately make this again! It was fast and easy.

Oh, I was sad to see that these brownies didn't have a review yet...they are AWESOME. I have been making these for a while and they are always a big hit at get-togethers and pot lucks. The only change I make is to use homemade chocolate frosting, never have the boughten kind on hand.
