Delicious! But I am giving it 4 stars, because a few revisions were necessary to get the desired result. First of all, many said the cookies were good, but flat. I prepared the recipe as directed with the three following exceptions: 1. I did not put in any milk. It's just not necessary. 2. Instead of baking powder, I put in 1 tsp. of baking soda, and the cookies rose beautifully. 3. I increased the flour to 2 cups (also to help the cookies with volume). ... As an additional idea, but not at all necessary, you could substitute 1 cup of white chocolate chips for the walnuts (but you must truly have a sweet tooth to do this!). I did this only because I did not have walnuts, but they turned out great.

I changed the recipe up just a tiny bit. I used dark chocolate cocoa instead of regular and I used a cup of Andes Mints chunks instead of chocolate chips. I think this is the best cookie recipe I have ever made! Turned out fantastic and loved by all! :)

Delicious cookies.. eating them while I type. I made a bit of a mess trying to prepare the ingredients. I don't like nuts in my cookies, so I did not add those.. just a few extra chocolate chips. But thank you for sharing, will use again! :)

Very good, brownielike cookies. Our first batch we made we didn't add the nuts. Cookies spread quite a bit or didn't cook enough. Second batch we used 2 cups flour and 1/2 tsp baking powder. They barely spread at all so we flattened them slightly. Kids loved them but I thought they were a wee bit greasy.

We didn't like these at all. I thought the dough lacked chocolatey flavour, all I could taste was sugar. I wont be making these again.

These were pretty good, use exact amount of Coco. I also used Buttermilk (it's all I had) instead of milk that worked great to. Probally will make again!

These were pretty good. The cookie did flatten more than I would have liked and for some reason took forever to cook through...but the flavor was great. Will make again but with some adjustments for a thicker cookie.
