"This is a traditional Dixie salad that makes Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner great. Kids love this stuff!"

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

  • 2 cups pomegranate seeds
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 4 bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 3 cups peeled, cored, and chopped tart apple
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons creamy salad dressing, e.g. Miracle Whip ™

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pomegranate seeds, pineapple, bananas, apples and pecans. Stir in the mayonnaise and salad dressing until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate overnight before serving.
