I LOVE these cookies. The dough is a bit odd to work with because of the coconut pieces in it, but it rolls out good. I just used a small drinking glass to make the cookies round because I don't have a round cookie cutter... once the cookies were on the cookie sheet I smoothed around the edges of each cookie with my finger to push the coconut pieces that were sticking out back into the cookie. Easy and great recipe!!! Love it!

These were just OK. First, the dough did not want to come together. Then I realized i had to kneed it by hand for the butter in it to melt. Then I put it in the fridge to make it easier to handle - big mistake. It got really hard and even more difficult to handle. The final result just tasted OK. i don't think I'll make these again.

These are excellent! I followed the recipe exactly as written for the ingredients. However, I did not bake them as directed because I do not have the patience for rolled cookie dough. Instead, I put them in my cookie press with the blade shaped like a Christmas tree and they turned out really cute. ~Helen

These were great! I loved the hint of coconut and the chocolate was perfect. I sprinkled some toasted coconut on the chocolate and it looked really pretty. It does not make a huge batch so I would double if making for a group.
