I will never make it again... And My family didn't care for it either, especially the tomatoes, just skip them, or at least drain them!!! Super gross!!! all the other commenters are either crazy, being paid, or have no tongues! REALLY BAD!!!

We loved this. Made according to recipe, but used a bag of frozen mixed veggies in place of the peas. Very good and will definitely make again!

I gave this 4 stars b/c most of my family likes it.I use frozen mixed veggies instead of just peas for more color and variety I also precook veggies about 5-6 min in micro as the veggies are alittle aldente if you just put them in frozen.

I would give this recipe five stars, but I did tweak it a bit, so I thought I'd make note of that. Since I didn't have any bouillon in the house, I ended up using - of all things - beef-flavored ramen packets. Feel free to be horrified, but they actually worked out well! I also added some port wine I had lying around and have been trying to get rid of. I didn't end up using the flour, not feeling much of a need to have my concoction be thick. It was pretty tasty, though. I advise adding more marjoram than the recipe suggests; I essentially halved all of the ingredients except for the marjoram. Overall, the dish was delicious. The prep time, though, is deceptive, because it doesn't include making the mashed potatoes.

This was a tasty alternative to my regular shepards pie recipe. The only change I made was to cut back the amount of peas and potatoes by half to save some carbs and calories. If I make this in the future, I won't bother adding the eggs to the mashed potatoes because I didn't think they added anything to the texture or taste.

This was pretty good. I used turkey instead of the beef and it was fine. It did have a strong ketchup flavor so I might reduce next time. Overall though, a nice variation of shepards pie, and easy to make.
