1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1 tablespoon prepared horseradish, or to taste
1 teaspoon dill weed

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
On a lightly floured surface, unroll the crescent roll dough into a rectangle, and press all of the seams together to make a single sheet. Spread horseradish over the top of the block of cream cheese, then sprinkle with enough dried dill to cover. Place the block of cream cheese dill side down in the center of the sheet of dough. Sprinkle the other side with enough dill to cover. Wrap the dough around the cheese like a present, and seal any openings. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the pastry is golden brown. Serve warm.

Ok I have been amking this for years. Not at evey event but when i remember i make it. I make it a little different, I only use dill on one side of the cream cheese and i don't use horseradish. i butter the top of the pastry before cooking it as well. we slice up green apples to dip into it and it is yummy! 20 minutes is a bit to short i do 30.

It was kind of easy to prepare, but the cream cheese was still cool when it came out of the oven. The outside was brown, but the inside of the pastry was still doughy. The directions are not clear on how to serve it.
