Dijon Vinaigrette

"In this recipe, Dijon mustard adds a new twist to a traditional vinaigrette dressing. Olive oil gives it great flavor, but I have used vegetable oil in a pinch."

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake until blended. Store in the refrigerator.
